About this listen
Legendary college basketball coach John Wooden and Jay Carty know that when it comes down to it, success is an equal opportunity player. Anyone can create it in his or her career, family and beyond. Based on John Wooden’s own method to victory, Coach Wooden’s Pyramid of Success reveals that success is built block by block, where each block is a crucial principle contributing to life-long achievement in every area of life.
Each of these 32 daily readings takes an in-depth look at a single block of the pyramid, which when combined with the other blocks forms the structure of the pyramid of success. Join John Wooden and Jay Carty to discover the building blocks and key values - from confidence to faith - that have brought Coach to the pinnacle of success as a leader, a teacher, and a follower of God.

Good book tying Woden's philosophy with the Bible
The narrator is the same as the one from Paulo Cuello's the pilgrimage, which also has some religious elements.
This book is much more backed up with Biblical references and does have the voice of a preacher.
Biblical lovers will appreciate it. I respect the role of the Bible in all self help literature and even for me the book is quite close to a sermon.

Religious Propaganda
Interesting book if you are deep into religion. If you have a more agnostic view on religion I don’t see how this book is of any value.

Religious book, very few wisdoms from John Wooden.
Very disappointing book. This is a religious book trying to promote christianism. Chapter 28-29 is even an attempt to promote Christianity above other religions. Very little wisdom from John Wooden about achievement. Extremely disappointing

Book on Religion NOT succes
As a great sports coach writing a book on success, I expected a book on success with some focus on sport. But the overarching theme is god and I had to stop listening. This is a shame because there may be vast wisdom in John Woodens success pyramid.
