Extremely interesting
I found the subject highly interesting and informative. There was a lot of examples that were explained in detail. It is great to have a logical perspective and rational approach to these ideas.

interesting
Well worth listening. It's quite educational and good to know why we believe in conspiracy theories. However, the author has biases and I don't trust everything he's preaching.

The Conspiracy theorist bane
The beginning of the book was very insightful and interesting in regards to the phycology of conspiracy.
However I don't think the author was very balanced in his views it felt more what to think rather than a way of looking at thinks. For me personally 9/11 with all the facts is undoubtedly the most troubling for me.I was 15 and saw the BBC announced the falling of building 7, 25 minutes before it fell after I thought the whole thing very strange.

Not everything explained, otherwise very good.
Very good narrator, engaging and easy to listen to, but nearing the end, the book explained the concepts less and less, which made it hard to follow. I have to listen to this again to understand better and remember all the biases. This book leaned well into my confirmation bias, lol.

I was looking forward to this one BUT
I need to start giving sherbet more credit, he is a work horse and he isn’t scared of going there..I listen to the sherbet show all the time he has great guests and a no holds barred long form discussion..I enjoy when he talks to scientists like NDGT and RD or philosophers such as DD and DH,.Anyway regarding this book, He does his same old thing mentions true conspiracies and singles out others he believes to be false but he never ever fully debunked anything at all..he talks it down and moves on to the next..you end up with a list of his opinion on all the generic garden variety CT’s..and that’s it..THIS BOOK WILL NOT EMPOWER YOU TO CALM DOWN YOOR TIN FOIL BESTIE...And if won’t leave you any surer than you were before you DL’d it..but apart from those huge Con’s..I still enjoyed the “pro’s”..if you don’t expect to much you should find it highly enjoyable, as did I..but I didn’t take much away to be fair..I still can’t talk people down of the ledge like on TV..haha laterz peeps it’s worth a token

At least theoretically sometimes there may be a cause and solution to one’s suffering.
This book is ok, but maybe that’s what they want you to think?
