Great book

We can all get angry at times but this book helps us navigate the best ways not to let it consume us or ruin relationships. The book will also really help you to grow and develop as a person as you learn to control your emotions and live with emotional intelligence. Valuable Resource for Anger Management

I enjoyed the tone of this audiobook and love that this book was empathetic to people who struggle with anger management. Emotional Regulation

I am someone who has been working through anger issues for years. It seems that once I seem like I have things under control, new situations pop up and I have found my anger is being displayed in other ways besides just yelling so I was really ready to get a handle on things. I checked out this book because there are 7 strategies and I feel like if I can focus on these 7 things, I will have a much better understanding and grip on how to keep myself in check. Chapter 6 is one I probably needed the most. I tend to hold things against my husband because I see repeated mistakes happen and I just can't seem to let go. He has ADHD so I know it comes with the territory but I have noticed how much it causes problems with me treating him disrespectfully. So, in this chapter I am learning to let go of the past, not hold a grudge, and let it go. Learning to let it go will allow me to be more relaxed and not be so spiteful with my husband if a mistake is made. Learning to forgive is not a weakness but instead a strength.

What's nice is in this book the author brings in psychological wisdom, personal anecdotes, and practical exercises. Instead of just listening to what to do, you actually are able to practice what is being taught. Really great book by the author and if you have any type of anger, then this is a great book to help you start to control it and move past it to regulate yourself.

Master yourself by controlling your anger!

This was a very enlightening listen that taught and made me realize many things about my own anger, my triggers, stressors. The author gives great insight into many factors that can contribute to a person's anger both internally and externally. I learned many new things that even included how diet and exercise can influence anger. It is both comprehensive and practical as it covers soooo many different perspectives such as anger due to trauma, triggers, nutrition, friends, family, work and many others but also provides coping and behavorial techniques, CBT, to aid younin overcoming your own anger issues. Highly recommend!

Great help!

Listening to this will help you see how anger can mess things up. It discusses simple ways to deal with it.
