Incredible Resource

BB Glynn has written a great book and it is narrated expertly by Samantha Novak.

As a parent of 3 teenagers it is my goal to try to find resources for my boys to excel during their teen years and beyond. This book and its 5 step framework will help empower your teens and give them the emotions and overcome their stress.

My favorite part of the book for my boys and in today's world is how to help navigate social media and other digital interactions to help them keep a positive self-image.

I highly recommend this book!!!!

Coping Skills for teens

This is a great book to help your teens navigate their life and learn some coping tools so they don't get overwhelmed. It provides understanding to help them recognize their triggers and in doing so they can use it as a steppingstone in their journey. One of my favorite topics discussed is self-compassion and learning to treat yourself with the same compassion and respect you show others.
Another point covered in the book is how to maintain a healthy self-image while using social media platforms.
I recommend this book to all parents that want to encourage and build up your teens to become their best self, while also being supportive of others.

Great Resource!

I got this book for my daughter, who has a lot of anxiety, but also listened through to see if I could pick up any tips on supporting her. This book gives teens an explanation about the brain and how it works, then provides suggestions for how they can work to be more present in the moment and reduce stress and worry. My top take-away is the 5,4,3,2,1 method to re-focus when anxiety is becoming overwhelming. The book is written and narrated in a way that is engaging and easy for teens to understand and I'm sure all teens can learn something positive from this book.

A Must Listen & Great Gift 4 the Teen in your life

I wish this book was around when I was a teen. The author provides fantastic advice and strategies to help understand emotions hormones, deal with anxiety, negative self talk, that are so needed at this age. The discussion on power of thoughts and how to turn negative patterns around, how to be more mindful, grounded and present are invaluable skills to develop at this age. I can't imagine growing up in a world of social media and not being able to make the same mistakes without everything documented, this book reveals just how to manage social media and its impact. Highly recommend!!! Great Gift!

Tremendous Audiobook for All Teens

I really enjoyed listening to Coping Skills for Teens; A Step-by-Step Guide to Emotional Mastery: Overcome Anxiety and Cultivate a Deep Understanding of Self, by B.B. Glynn. This is a tremendous book for all teens that I just had my 14-year-old listen to. Teenage years are extremely tough, and I think they are even more challenging in this day and age. There is so much pressure on teens with everything available at a press of a button. Navigating through the teen years is challenging to say the least. I am happy there is guide like this one to help master their emotions and become a strong and loving adult.
