About this listen
Can two very different men turn an intense holiday romance into lasting love?
Jude
I shoot my mouth off and hide behind my smile as I try—and fail—to fill the void inside. Nothing has felt right since I was medically discharged from the army. Can there be more to life than a dead-end job and meaningless hook-ups?
Kasper
I didn’t expect to win a Cuffd Destinations holiday, let alone meet a sexy guy who’s fun to be around. Jude doesn’t think he’s a Daddy, but I’m going to prove him wrong. Who knows what we might discover along the way?
Crazy Little Thing Cold Love is part of the Destination Daddies Season Two multi-author series. It features an emotionally scarred army veteran, a bubbly boy who sees the world in a unique way, summer snow, lots of steam, and a happy ending. Each book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone, but there are so many destinations and Daddies to discover, why not grab them all?
Trigger warning for mentions of PTSD, flashbacks, and nightmares.

Jude and Kasper Superb 💙
Absolutely outstanding I was simply swept away on a emotional but beautiful journey of two very special and amazing men. Piers Ryman as outdone himself in capturing and bringing Jude & Kasper to life and giving us this fantastic story of a broken man becoming the daddy he was meant to be with his adorable boy.
can't recommend enough thank you Colette Davison for giving us these special men. 💙

Sweet
This is a brilliant and sweet story, I loved how Kasper and Jude clicked though it was far from easy as Kasper had to get Jude to believe that he wanted to be with him despite his PTSD. I also loved seeing how all Jude’s Daddies tendencies come to light.

Absolutely love this!
Beautiful, emotional, poignant, this story made me cry when I read it and there aren't many books that do that! So, to have the chance to listen to this, is very special.
Piers Ryman's narration is sublime, effortlessly bringing both Jude and Kasper to life!
I want to say so much more about this but, I won't as I don't want to spoil this absolute delight for anyone.

good audio
Brilliant story . Loved Piers Ryan's narration of it. Loved the way he describes Jake's PTSD attacks, and the way Kasper helps him to come through it.
Total opposites but perfect for each other

Tight Tunnels and Ice Palaces.
Crazy little thing cold love, is a Boy n Daddy audio-book full of emotion, care and love. Kasper wins a holiday to Austria through the Cuffd app and Jude picks a Daddy holiday to go to the same place. Jude's first Cuffd holiday didn't turn out great but he'd told his friends a different story that it was great, he's left the army with PTSD and feels he has to be outgoing, the life of the party out every night, when in real he's scared, lonely and sitting at home afraid to tell his friends. His friends are a boy and Daddy couple and they've mentioned he could be a daddy but he feels more of a dom. So he goes on his second Cuffd holiday to Austria, its a Daddy holiday. Kasper whose a fun loving (not a brat, he swears he's not a brat) scallywag of a boy get a free Cuffd holiday and meets Jude. The book is emotional and caring the relationship that's building throughout the week with Jude showing Kasper his real side, taking about the army and his PTSD, with Kasper teaching Jude how to be a Daddy, his Daddy. You'll love this audio-book, it's a must listen. It's a very visual audio-book, I would love to visit some of the places mentioned in it, its written wonderfully and the narration by Piers Ryman is spot on, giving the characters that extra bit of personality and bringing them to life. The accents he does are great for the area the characters are from and are consistent from one book to the next.

Mountains, July, Snow and a hot daddy
What can I say, except this book has everything? Jude is a veteran with PTSD and is not a daddy, but to shut his long-term friend and a daddy up, he books himself onto a Cuff'd holiday, but this year it's for daddies and boys in Austria. Why not? Last year's holiday in Italy was a disaster, so he holds no hope for this year either.
Kasper has a best friend, an annoying, food scrounging best friend,
OH, and interfering. He entered Kasper into a prize draw for a holiday with Cuff'd and won a free holiday to Austria in July. OH well, the scenery will be stunning even if there won't be snow.
Can a boy help his daddy with his PTSD? Can they have a relationship if you can't sleep in the same bed? Can someone who says they aren't a daddy be such a natural daddy?
Daddy/Boy, Austria skiing in summer, PTSD, Art therapy, flashbacks and a HEA.
I learned so much from Colette again. Even though I had read books about PTSD before, the detail and how Colette deals with the issues are genuinely impressive. Also, the way Kasper deals with sound and light is incredible. I had never heard of this before, and again Colette writes about it in a way which makes us understand the disease entirely. Easy to read with a fun side, such a great book and an excellent read.
Piers Ryman did a fantastic job narrating this book, and I was entranced throughout. Easy and clear narration. I did speed up to 1.20 on audible, which is my norm.

Yes for Jude's HEA! Kasper his perfect match
I've been eagerly awaiting Jude's story since meeting him in His Boy to Cherish and this book fully does him and his HEA with Kasper justice.
He's never felt a tendency towards daddy kink but after seeing his best friend Ben find his perfect boy and witnessing their relationship, he follows their urging to go on another Cuff'd holiday but this time signs up to a Daddy one, not knowing it will be the best thing he's ever done. He and Kasper have great chemistry from their first meeting and it only gets better, hotter and sweeter from there. Jude admits to not being a daddy before and Kasper offers to show/teach him but Jude needs very little coaching, easily showing his softer, caring side not the brasher, more vocal man he feels he needs to be around his friends. Kasper is so lovely, instantly warning your heart with his caring nature and it's fun to see his slightly bratty side come out to tease Jude once in a while. I adore the way he talks to and deals with Jude's PTSD. It is a heard thing to read but it really shines a light on the condition and some of the ways in which it can be treated/coping mechanisms. The scenes that they share together go from one extreme to the other with the highs of quality moments together but to the lows of a PTSD flashback and the aftermath of that. One of the many things I love about Colette's writing is that even though the majority of the story takes place over a short time period and the relationship is quick to build and develop, it all feels so natural between them.
Cannot recommend this enough! One man discovering who he was meant to be with the help of a man he comes to love whilst also accepting he can be loved in return.
*Please be sure to read the trigger warnings*
Piers Ryman continues to provide wonderful narration through this series. He gives such a great voice to Jude who goes through a huge range of emotions in this book and then the sweetness and support of Kasper through both Jude's exploration of Daddy kink and his PTSD.

Sweet and steamy
I'm delighted to see more in the Destination Daddies series and Jude and Kasper make a perfect pair. They are a play on the grumpy/sunshine trope but both have well developed reasons for fitting into those type of categories. Jude is dealing with a severe case of PTSD and Kasper is so patient with Jude and perceptive about what he needs it is beautiful to see. Jude is equally smitten with Kasper and slowly comes to realize that being a Daddy is exactly what he needs to do for both of them. Just as I read all the entries in the first season, I'll be reading/listening to all of these as they never fail to deliver on the sweet and steamy with just the right amount of low level angst. I've been fortunate to listen to several of Piers Ryman's audio performances lately and they have all been superb. I particularly enjoyed Jude here. His struggles are clearly there in the vocal performance, but so is the deep longing to connect with Kasper, to trust him and let him in.
