Summary
The plan was for Ben and Eleanor to put business life behind them and spend idyllic days living at an old farmhouse in beautiful countryside. The reality became a living nightmare, with ghosts in the evil farmstead driving them towards insanity, trapped into suffering the same horrors of its grisly past.

Dead Spirits Farm
I like a good ghost story and I know what tropes to expect. Sleight's book follows these conventions well, with the frustrating protagonist and malevolent antagonists. The writing was evocative, like something out of Uncanny. The narrative closure was... different. No spoilers here. The narrator was clear and engaging and differentiated most of his characters nicely. A good listen.

Intense creepy ghost story
I enjoyed this one, a creepy, intense ghost story. It has great atmosphere, tension and real emotion. Buying a cheap farm to retire to leads to horror and tragedy. The writing is excellent, as with other stories by Geoffrey he concentrates on building the tension and fear rather than the gore. The narration is very good Howard Davey does well with the story, I just found the narration just a little flat in parts. Overall though excellent. I received a complimentary copy from the author an am leaving a honest voluntary review

Dead Spirits Farm
Dead Spirits Farm is the classic Ye Old Tale about an evil haunted house. For a horror book it's not scary at all, more suspense and thriller, but it's an interesting short story. The basic concept is about an older man who wants to retire early so convinces his wife to buy an old abandoned house in the countryside. A lot of creepy stuff happens in the house but the husband is stubborn and is not willing to let go without a fight. I thought the major event at the end flew by too quickly, I had to replay it back to make sure I hadn't missed anything (I hadn't) because it lacked detail which was a shame. What the wife decided to do at the end of the book was creepier than the whole story put together.

superb thriller story
where do I begin without spoiling the story for you, well I can tell you that the story revolves around a haunted farm house with a history of things going bad. the new owner of the house will have to deal with these hauntings other than that I really don't want to say to much as it's such a great story which I don't want to spoil for you. I highly recommend this story.

Ghost
The narration of Howard J Davey, is perfect for this spooky book.
Ben and Eleanor have found their retirement home. While renovating the place.#, Ben encounters the ghost and its not friendly . This is a fast paced, paranormal-horror story. This is a book will have you hooked.
