Summary

Amy Duncan and Seth Conners were just starting to connect in high school when Seth was suddenly arrested, Amy’s parents died, and everything changed. They don’t see each other again for ten years, but now, someone is trying to make sure they never become too serious about each other again.

To trust or not to trust, that is the question

What’s up text Amy to the prom who was upset to find out Dylan sports it already I asked her. It wasn’t until after the prom that Seth really knew he had a chance with Amy. Unfortunately he would never get that chance, because someone put drugs in his locker and tipped off the principal. What’s up didn’t know was that this was the best thing that could’ve happened to him. Instead of going to jail he moved in with Jim Malone and his wife is live on a whole different course. He even played in the major leagues, but now he’s back and he’s going to be the baseball coach at his old high school. Even better he starts seeing Amy again after seeing her at church. Again, unfortunately Dylan is still around and still trying to date Amy 10 years later. And still pestering Amy. The only two people that want them together is south and Amy. Her sister, his brother the police chief and of course Dylan is totally against them being together. So when her sister Kathy tells her that sell is seeing her good friend Gina, Amy blows at all but once he runs across them sitting at a table at the mall Chanel totally believes it. Even though she knows Dylan told her sister they were seeing each other and despite the great day they had together on her birthday. This is when I start listening to the book. I love Janice call Hopkins books, but I thought it was a bit ridiculous after they told each other they loved each other they just seeing them at the mall together was enough for her to get back the cell phone he bought her and stop talking to him. She didn’t even give him a chance to defend his self nor does she tell him why she stop talking to him better than that she started hanging with Dylan again. I guess I have come to expect much more from Mrs. Hawkins books. I’m sure in the end they got back together, but getting through the story was more than I could do. I am sure most people will love this story and I did until she started hanging with Dylan again that was too much for me and not realistic. They said that I still love Miss Hopkins books and have one I’m about to start reading in my library. This is the first book I have ever questioned by her and I have read multiple books by this author and loved all of them except this one. Please forgive any grammatical or punctuation or errors.
