About this listen
Bursting with practical and relatable advice, this audiobook injects enthusiasm, energy and some much-needed humour into the essential task of decluttering. Forget the holier-than-thou approach promising a whole new you if you alphabetise your sock drawer - this is decluttering for real people, with real lives. With a refreshingly honest approach, Debora tackles the best ways to deal with domestic dilemmas, cluttered kitchens and crowded cupboards. She includes handy tips and tricks for the average time-poor person. Tasks are broken down into achievable goals and quick fixes, allowing even the busiest of people to create, maintain and achieve a tidy home. And it's not just the home she tackles.
Debora helps you banish anxiety and kick-start productivity with '10 decluttering commandments' and includes honest advice on how to conquer the fear of change. The busy writer, who has transformed her own cluttered home and mind using these techniques, also explores how best to unclutter your virtual world, from managing social media accounts to balancing email mailing lists.

Really loved this book. One of my favourites. I've finally started decluttering after reading many if these books but this one got through to me and made it seem easy to tackle. Thank you so much.

A useful tool for anyone overwhelmed by cluttter.
A bit harsh on husbands so took a star off in their defence but a very good listen, twice, and an excellent narrator.

Great book filled with common sense and really practical tips
I’ve struggled with decluttering for a while and have looked at other books which, although impressive, haven’t really resonated with me.
Debora is like a really good friend who tells it like it is and gets you - well, me for sure! - to rethink why I’ve become so attached to stuff.
Her no nonsense, common sense approach, coupled with the warmth and compassion is a real winner.
I liked the audible version so much (great content, beautifully narrated) that I bought the book as well.
Couldn’t have come at a better time as I’m about to downsize on quite a scale.
Highly recommended and thank you Debora!

Best decluttering book, really well read too!
I absolutely love this declutter book. I’ve read at least three or four declutter books and this is the only one that I really relate to. It’s a fantastic read and has lots of doable tips in it. It’s a very practical guide and even made me giggle at times! This is the only one that I am going to listen to again, which I will do very soon. I’ve already bought my little journal to plan and map out my thoughts and feelings and an action plan about clutter in my house. This fantastic book really made me think about my feelings around clutter and teaches you that although decluttering might be difficult at first it’s actually very empowering. I also love all of the wise words that each chapter begins with. The author also gives lots of excellent references to enable you to clear clutter and also for further reading.A wonderful listen, that I would fully recommend.

I listen on repeat
I play this every time I need encouragement to declutter, and over time the messages have sunk in to the point that I’ve removed not only most of my clutter but also many of my previously ingrained pain-points and blockages around letting go of belongings. As a result I feel very grateful to the author and also to the narrator whose warm delivery helps make this a very relatable and repeatable audio book. I’ve read a whole bunch of decluttering books, some of which are recommended in this one. But this remains my firm favourite so far. Excellent.
