another great one
yes there is some repetition from previous books, but this even consolidates previous knowledge and ads new tips which are extremely helpful. also good as a quick reference point or if you forgot what was in previous books. definitely worth reading!

YOU MUST HAVE THIS BOOK IF YOU ARE AN ARTISTIC PERSON.
This book covers everything I need to clean declutter and organise my house. To be more precise - this book covers the way I think!
It is fascinating to read a different way of organising myself. I have already used some of her ideas - she’s good at looking at things in a different way to other declutterers and organisers. I like decluttering without mess! It works for me.

Great! It contained only good stuff
This is a great book to start on if you've never read the Author, Dana K White's other books. It introduces the basic principles of her system without overwhelming you and gives you food for thought, as well as 'Oh wow, that makes so much sense; I'm going to do that right now' motivation moments.
If you have read her books before, this gives you reminders of what to do on those overwhelmed days when you look at the remaining piles of stuff in your house and are thinking 'Oh no, what was that thing I read in that book? cause that tip would really help right now, gah!'
Unlike some other decluttering experts, the author has come from being a hoarder of stuff herself. Her experience is what I like most about her books.
She understands and talks through the emotional and psychological reasons/excuses we give ourselves to why we cannot throw something away and talks about other ways of trying to think about the stuff, reusing the stuff and practical ways to change our hoarding habits.
She is the narrator for all her Audible books. She talks in a friendly, down to earth manner and with an infectious positive energy. They are great to listen to, and to listen to for motivation when you are actually doing some decluttering and cleaning.
Her principles have helped me hone my own system and helped so much in finding the words to communicate with my own family about dehoarding, decluttering and changing how we live in and use our home - such as accessibility / user-ability and the container concept. Her books have given me a plan and hope of finally making our way out of the hoarding.
Finally, go read her other books too and find her on YouTube.
Happy Decluttering!

Love Dana
I have listened to all 3 of Dana's books (and love her on YouTube too). I think they are great I still feel decluttering at the speed of life is my favourite and has helped me the most. I have mostly got my home under control and didn't really NEED this one but I always find her hints/ideas will spur me on to go a level deeper or get another part of my life under control or help others to do that. Plus I just like the way she puts it/talks. This book I feel is like both books squished together which is just what most people need. But like she said if you do need more help read one of the other books.

Love this book for motivation
I usually listened while doing the dishes and it always motivates me. I watch Dana on YouTube but having all of these tips in one place I found really helpful. I like Dana's style of delivery and find I am always given a boost by her awareness of reality and that there is no need for perfection.

Brilliant
Loved the short, sharp ideas. Much better than decluttering books that go on and on…..

Useful as a reference guide/recap if read other books
I agree with a previous review that if you have read all of the other books and listen to the podcasts/ watch YouTube videos there is nothing new to learn.
However I love that it’s got all of the steps in one place and it’s quick and succinct. Every nugget of information I have learnt is all in one place.
I like to play this whilst decluttering, picking up and cleaning. I find it reassuring in the moment when it all feels crazy to know that I know what to do. I’m literally being talked through the process as I’m doing it.
If you haven’t read the other books then this will give you a quick guide to all of the best bits without needing to read the background (which I love). You can jump straight into cracking on and improving your home.
