Interesting but not engrossing

Love Dr Strange one of my favourites, although the story line was interesting I wouldn't say it was completely engrossing but still enjoyable it had everything you expected from Dr Strange just the story didn't really have the wow factor to me anyway

Interesting and Appealing to listen to

This audiobook was narrated expertly by Richard Rohan and played out well. I got lost in the middle of the audiobook with the many realms in the Dream Dimension and couldn't keep up as much as I would have liked. I got the gist of the story and was able to follow. As is expected with Dr Strange stories, vague outlines of locations were described which threw me a little. However, I was able to enjoy the story but it was not an epic time. I look forward to more of Marvel Dr. Strange stories.

It's like a comic book in made of sound!

Not sure what I was expecting when I pre-ordered this. Doctor Strange is one of my favourites from the Marvel Universe so I was a little excited when I first saw it pop up for pre-order. After eagerly awaiting it's released, I loaded up audible and started to listen.
It caught me off guard a little at the start. The audio book is in the style of a radio play, and seemingly has a full cast of characters, along with background music and sound effects. The narration is heard over the top as it tells the story.
My initial reaction was I wasn't going to like it, since there wasn't a sample audio yet (and still isn't as I write this). However, as I listened it felt very much at home with the comic style and I really started to enjoy it.
Overall, if you're into marvel comic, and want to hear what is almost a sound track to a movie, it's well worth the credit. Hopefully there is more to come.

Fantastical Kirby-esk story

A wonderful if not dark story, rooted in the Marvel ethos, with a brilliant world beautifully brought to life by the cast. Recommended for any Strange fan and anyone who enjoys the Marvel worlds.
