Keeps getting better
This is the second book in this trilogy and it just keeps getting better. I love the dynamic better Roxie and Ryker and I can’t wait to see where their relationship will go.

Double Drama
With the previous drama settled, I was hoping we would get to see some growth between Roxie and Ryker. And while we did see Ryker open up and share with Roxie, it still felt like there were still things holding them back.
They did grow closer, and I adored how he managed to surprise her. I think that was maybe my favourite part of the book. I also liked getting to see the developing relationships between the other characters. The budding friendships and trusted besties coming together.
But HELLO MEAN GIRL! I kind of saw it coming.
And, then... the bomb. And just when I thought the drama was done...
Um, what was that ending? Did I hear that correctly? Oh! What happened? I NEED ANSWERS.
Look out book three, here I come!
Leanne, once again, did a fabulous job with the narration and accents.

Ryker and Roxie!
Roxie and Ryker are adjusting to their new relationship and trying to balance the time they need to improve their sports with the time they want to spend together. By dating Ryker, Roxie has become part of upper social hierarchy at the school, but it is not a position she wants and she starts making changes so that it no longer exists.
Not everyone is happy that they are together and about the changes that are being made. If they are going to triumph over the obstacles that others are throwing in their way they must learn to trust and confide in each other. The narrator does a great job both with the escalating relationship between Roxie and Ryker and the intrigue component of the story. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

So good
I think I have more questions that I need answered now than when I started this second book!!! There’s more sabotage in this book. The characters are developing well. Leanne is great for these books.

Good Listen
The rules have now changed and Roxie is now the head of the pack. She has changed the rules and everyone must adjust or be left behind. Roxie must now understand that she has the power and that everyone is looking to her to see what will now happen. But she fails to remember that she has created enemies and beware of what they could do.
