About this listen
After Aileas rejects him, Brady Shape leaves Wyoming and wanders to Texas. He gets a job at Double G Ranch and becomes their temporary foreman. However, he never feels comfortable in the job, although he’s determined to catch the cattle rustlers before he leaves. He can’t seem to forget Aileas either.
When he meets Nora Joseph, she needs rescuing from a desperate situation. He’s determined to see her situated before he leaves Sagebrush, but somehow, she talks him into taking her with him. The only place he can think to take her is back to Aileas in Wyoming. However, getting there will take battling dust storms, the storms of their pasts, and storms that loom in the future.

Brady & Nora!
With Aileas happily married, Brady cannot stay. He has feelings for her and they are not just as a brother. He needs to get away and leaving Wyoming to go to Texas seems like a good move. That should give him a chance to search his heart and get over his love. Nora Joseph is in trouble, and Brady has taken it upon himself to help her out. Now on his way back out of Texas, he gets to know this woman, and realizes there is more to love than he realizes. But can he make it back home through the dust storms and keep Nora safe? Will he still feel the pang in his heart when he sees Aileas? Danger, following your heart and guided by faith this story is a winner. I enjoy Janice Cole Hopkins's writing, and find it a breath of fresh air.
Douglas Birk brings this story to life. He has a great voice with an array of characters, each easy to distinguish and enjoy. His portrayal of this story is spot on and made for a good, weekend listen.
