Amazing

If you could sum up Enemy of God in three words, what would they be?

This is the 2nd I have read, I have paid for the 3rd, these books have kept spell bound with not wanting to stop reading, I was forced several time

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dervil I could see his point of view, and had wanted to slay Lancelot as soon as I could,

Which character – as performed by Jonathan Keeble – was your favourite?

Dervil.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I certainly at times became part of the book falling in love several times.

Any additional comments?

I will read more books absolutely,

It never gets old...

Set at the right time, filled with the right images and emotions, words that roll off the tongue in waves of chills and thrills. Did not grow much older since 1997 when I read it. From contemporary literature, it only misses the simple cussing, and some pragmatic chooses, both of which would have been out of time. Nope, done properly and... painfully to "watch" take place. I so wish this became a film/series. Oh and... THAT'S how the names are pronounced, eh?

A perfect follow up

Th is a brilliant sequel to the first installment and the author's masterful story telling is expertly narrated. I have already purchased the final book in the series and can't wait to listen. I shall be sad when I finish the series and look forward to other works from the author.

Superb Series and mostly superb Actor!

The story line is pure Cornwell, all great characters and fantastic storylines couched in fabulous world building! Many great characters that are incredibly well written. The voice acting is mostly sensational, Mr Keeble's accents are spot on, with one set of excpetions... the ladies are a bit hard to listen to in a falsetto that given the narrators masculine gravelly voice is un-intentionally comedic. But regardless a great actor

An enjoyable listen.

I really enjoyed this story and listened to it as often as I could. Once I got to know the characters I wanted to know where the story would take them and I was sorry to reach the end. Recommended to lovers of historical fiction.

Great narration and story

Some idiot scored this book one star even though he didn’t get past chapter 1. This is the 2nd book in the series and is brilliant, emotional, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Never have I cried from a Audiobook.

Bloody, witty and damn right emotional! straight into this second book and it's instantly one of my favourites. The characters are so deep and one scene in the book made me cry which has never happened before. The narrator is so good, he really pulls you in.

Straight onto Excalibur

Great story, brilliantly read.
Once you start, find yourself some time because you won't want to stop. Great for commuting.
