Summary

You just boarded a flight to New York.

There are 143 other passengers onboard.

What you don’t know is that 30 minutes before the flight, your pilot’s family was kidnapped.

For his family to live, everyone on your plane must die.

The only way the family will survive is if the pilot follows his orders and crashes the plane.

Enjoy the flight.

Critic reviews

"Stunning and relentless. This is Jaws at 35,000 feet." (Don Winslow)

"The best thriller I’ve read in years. Buckle up." (Adrian McKinty)

"Falling is the best kind of thriller (for me as a reader anyway). Characters you care deeply about. Nonstop, totally authentic suspense." (James Patterson)

A great ride

you know when you have read a good book when your heartrate returns to normal and you playback the adrenalin ride you have just been on
The author clearly knows her stuff with the aviation links that explain how an aircraft works
I felt like i was onboard the aircraft with all the twist and turns of the life or death choices the captain has to make and with the added action on the ground as the FBI and police battle against time
This book is so well written it could be a great movie and i will be looking for other books by this author
I have noted some of the negative reviews but am pleased that i decided to try the book well worth a listen

Hard to follow on Audible

This book frequently jumps about between different times and this can be super confusing on Audible. There is no marker or nothing to let you know we’re flipping back and it happens really quickly. There were so many times I had to rewind because I was so confused.

The story was enjoyable enough.

Brilliant!

Probably one of the best thriller books I have read in a good long while! Definitely worth your time and money!! I can’t wait to read her second book!

Decent

I thought that the narrator could have been better. The story had some good segments. i hope her next book Drowning in another level above when it's released.

Cliché and predicable execution of a good idea

It had such a great premise and idea for a story but ultimately executed predictably and full of cliché. It rings somewhat of a day dream by a bored flight attendant who wanted to write a 10-episode TV series and not a novel. The dialogue is somewhat cheesy and lazy; I can’t actually imagine any real person saying some of the sentences in this novel; something much more jarring when heard in audiobook format.

The narration performance, however, is excellent.

Twaddle

Very predictable and not very entertaining sadly after reading the reviews was hoping for a lot better. Also pretty unbelievable

Good read, well performed

It's well written and keeps you interested. I found the jumping back and fourth off putting, however.
Plays out like a familiar Bruce Willis, Wesley Snipes or Sylvester Stallone action movie but, it's enjoyable all the same

Suspenseful

As a team the author and narrator conveyed excellently the suspense, intrigue, betrayal and highly-strung emotions of this story.
Well worth spending a credit on in my opinion.
