About this listen
A Murderer Is Loose in the Hospital
Dora Stephens can’t refuse this case.
When she witnesses Sheila, the aunt of her best friend, stagger out of the hospital and die from a traffic accident, Dora’s private eye instincts kick in. Something’s not right. Sheila had no known enemies...but someone wanted her dead.
Digging into the circumstances of Sheila’s death leads Dora on a devious path where she encounters lies, drugs, betrayal, and infidelity. She uncovers another mysterious death and stumbles upon a dark secret kept by some of the hospital’s top staff and privileged doctors.
Sheila was not the only nurse who had an affair with the hospital’s star surgeon. Would one of her romantic rivals stoop to murder? Or had she learned too much about the well-kept dark secret?
Fatal Limit is a spellbinding medical thriller that will keep you listening for hours. In this taut and gripping story, greed, love, and envy come together to create a deadly toxin. And the only prescription is...justice

Worth A Listen
Dora Stephens goes to meet her friend’s aunt Sheila from work but instead watches helplessly as she stumbles into the path of oncoming traffic.
Whilst investigating the suspicious death, Dora stumbles into the middle of a dark secret involving some of the senior staff at the hospital.
A strong lead character, Dora is a private investigator with an arsenal of technological gadgets and a formidable skill set which she uses to track down the evidence she needs to solve the murder.
On the downside the plot seems to stall in places and the supporting cast are somewhat two dimensional. The audio style took a bit of getting used to at first but improved as it went along

Compelling Medical Thriller
I got this audiobook via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.
Dora's private detective instincts take over when she sees Sheila, the aunt of her best friend, stumble out of the hospital and perish in a car accident. There's a problem. Even though Sheila had no known foes, someone wanted her dead. Dora embarks on a perverse journey where she comes across lies, drugs, treachery, and infidelity as she investigates the circumstances surrounding Sheila's murder.
She discovers another suspicious death and comes upon a sinister secret that some of the hospital's elite employees and privileged doctors were keeping. Not only Sheila, but several other nurses had relationships with prominent medical professionals. Would a potential love rival commit murder? Or perhaps she had already discovered too much about the closely held dark secret?
Cloey Kelly did a brilliant job building up the suspense for this mystery in her narration.
