Nasr is the Senior Adjunct Fellow on the Middle East at the Council on foreign Relations. He is also professor of Middle East and south Asia Politics and associate Chair of research at the Department of National Security at the Naval Postgraduate School.
A few years ago, writer Jeffrey Goldberg spoke with Hezbollah leaders for a two-part article he wrote for the New Yorker magazine called "In the Party of God: Are Terrorists in Lebanon Preparing for a Larger War?" (10/7 and 10/14/2002) He'll help us understand the background of the current unrest in Lebanon. Goldberg serves as Washington correspondent for the New Yorker magazine.
