About this listen
Sisters Jenna and Rosie bring out the worst in each other. So they mostly keep their distance.
But Jenna has suddenly found herself with no job, no boyfriend, nowhere to live - and no idea what to do next. Is life really supposed to be this difficult? Turning up on Rosie's doorstep is the last thing she wants to do, but it feels like her only option.
Rosie misses her old life, the one filled with fun and travel and excitement. These days she barely has the energy for her cute friend with benefits, let alone to take care of her little sister. Why doesn't she ever get to put herself first?
Somehow the sisters find themselves roped into a community project, forced to work together. As the group brings an overgrown garden back to life, curious - maybe even magical - things begin to happen. New friendships blossom and old wounds start to heal. But will Jenna and Rosie finally find their way back to happiness, and each other?

Gosh I just loved this so much
From start to finish I was captivated, but I especially like how the book kept evolving and becoming something else as I read. There's a lot that we can all take away from it and I'm certainly recommending it!

This book is like a tight warm hug that I didn't know I needed.
And two readers actually really help not to get lost in the story.

Over thought and over worked
I loved the start of the story, great set up and first few chapters. Had the potential to dive deeply into the relationship between two sisters. I feel it got a bit lost in the middle, lost the point and tried to tackle way too many issues. Formulaic romantic plot that was unnecessary and then the token person of colour... just disheartening.
Had all the potential and some strong points but a bit too cheesy! Good commentary on mental health issues but overall disappointing.

Such a dull story
I wanted to enjoy this book so much, but it was just so dull. There wasn’t really much plot, and the characters felt so underdeveloped and cliché. The dialogue was difficult to listen to at points, it was so unrealistic and cringey. I like the over all idea of the message, but the execution was so underwhelming.
I should add, the narration was good.
