About this listen
Inspiration for the major motion picture 6 Days, starring Jamie Bell as Rusty Firmin.
Go! Go! Go! tells the action-packed story of the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege. It is a comprehensive and gripping account of an unforgettable six-day drama that shook Britain - and the wider world - to the core. Drawing on original and unseen source material from ex-SAS soldier Rusty Firmin, the police and the British government, Go! Go! Go! takes us to the heart of the whole operation.
The assault planning and training, strategy and tactics are described in detail, and the personal stories of the gunmen revealed - who they were, where they came from, why they did it and Saddam Hussein's direct involvement. Compelling accounts of each day of the siege from the hostages' points of view show how they dealt with captivity individually and collectively. And new material explains the negotiators' tactics and their cool exterior versus their internal turmoil as negotiations reached crisis point.

Comprehensive, detailed and interesting
This is probably my own fault because of the documentaries I’ve seen on the subject but there was little new information or points of view. However if
You are interested in the subject or want to learn more it is a very comprehensive and detailed account of the Iranian embassy siege. The performance was very good and clear.

THE inside story
A gripping account from one of those involved at the very sharp end of the Embassy siege. One of those whom we rarely hear of but are watching our backs and protecting us without us ever giving it more than a passing thought.
But we should and this story gives us a small insight into the training, pressure and danger these people go to on our behalf.
A must read account.

Very Good, but....
This is an extremely in depth story of the Iranian hostage siege told from the perspective of the hostages that is very gripping, but there isn't very much about the SAS in this book at all, however it was still a good listen though...
