Amazing final instalment of the Legacy of Gods

I am a long time lover of Rina Kents’ books but this was my first audio book of hers. I was heavily invested in this story and I could not wait for it to come out.
Once I started listening, it quickly had me hooked and full of questions I needed answered! Rina is the queen of romantic suspense and she uses it well to pull you in. I could not stop thinking about Eli and Ava and counting down the hours until I could listen to it again!
Listening to the duet narration made it all the more realistic for me. The voices added so much more to the characters. They sounded very different to how I had originally imagined but they were perfect in their role! I could clearly envision Eli and Ava, perhaps picturing them more accurately as Rina intended.
The emotions seemed all the more heart felt and vivid through the actors voices. The confusion and the questions were heightened tenfold and it really added to the growing suspense.
Eli is such a strong divisive character, he is so morally grey he is almost black, with so many hidden layers and the twists and turns that will leave you gripped! I was constantly wondering if Ava would ever get her happy ending!
Their relationship is complex and dark and full of hurt, but there is passion in every interaction. The fine line between hate and love is blurry but their bond is powerful, can it overcome all the secrets?! The ending is worth it, trust me!
It is bittersweet that this is the last book in the Rinaverse series of books. I will miss the characters and I will definitely be rereading and listening to more of her books, but what a book to end on!

Heartbreakingly beautiful
This book broke my heart and put it back together. Eli, the man he is. And Ava, oh my god, this girl. I did not expect anything that happened in this book and I loved every second of it. Shane East the singlehandedly the BEST man out there to bring the King men to life and Zara Hampton-Brown did such an amazing job as usual. A great experience all in all.

End of an era -wow!
Wow what a book, Its a journey. What a way to end this rinaverse. At first I didn’t see how all troupes would work together but its a good cocktail! Thank you Rina for your writing!

my favorite couple EliAva
In this Book and Audiobook, we have Duet Narration, with my favorite narrator Shane eats my favorite couple in the Series since it was announced.
My god, I really have no words to talk about this book, but I'm going to try.
First I read this book in less than 24 hours during my work ignoring everything, I took my time with the book and went to sleep at 4:30 in the morning.
and one detail is that I love this feeling that Rina's books leave me with happiness and nervousness and I love every second it's such a feeling of euphoria that's why I'm addicted to Rina's books
Let's go to the Audiobook Review. which I was very happy to receive from Rina's team.
Shane and Sara are perfect, my god, there's no way to describe it, I already loved Rina's Audiobooks more now that she's improved and put them to Duet Narration, which was my only complaint, my god, now it's just perfection. May he continue like this.
I loved being completely taken by surprise by the story and this book does that very well.
because in the previous books there was no way to discover anything,
She went above and beyond with this story I was enchanted by this couple and they did not disappoint
Ava is my favorite, I already loved her personality, but her arc is so perfect. Yes, I cried with her and I don't cry with books. Her story touched me I really felt everything together with her
However, like everything in Rina's universe, it is done with care, as Ava's illness is related to her paternal grandmother.
Eli my man, my top 1 in the Series and top 2 in Rinaverse behind only his father Aiden.
The way Eli protects Ava, my god, they are so beautiful, I was so nervous reading this book and scared, because it is very distressing and I wanted to see them together but I love couples who don't fall in love easily, that's why I love Rina I like difficulty and this couple has that.
Best things in the book
Eli at all times, I love his chapters, I love being in his mind, everything about him, in fact, he is very sarcastic, I love it.

Ava having her children, my heart couldn't handle so much cuteness, I was so happy I was afraid I wouldn't be able to. Do you realize that we have two King twins, my god, I need to meet them
Eli saying that she is so beautiful that it hurts to look at her.
Seriously, there were so many things I loved about this book that it's very difficult

Ava and Eli's story is no where near as dark as some of her others, but I loved it all the same!!
I absolutely love a good amnesia storyline and this one was 🤯🤯🤯!!
I loved seeing the other characters from previous books 🥹
I love when Eli says "mine" 🫠
I'm so sad that this is the last book in this series!!! Hopefully in the future we get more of the Rinaverse but I'm excited to see what she writes next ❤️

Such a sweet and passionate story
I'm left with a bittersweet feeling now that the series has concluded with our final couple. It has been wonderful listening to Ava and Eli's inspiring and emotional love story and how they conquered their demons and found love in each other after years of heartbreak and back and forth toxic games played against each other. This book reminded me a lot of My Dark Romeo but it was so unique in its own right. It's been a pleasure going through all the books in the Legacy of Gods series by Rina Kent. I'll definitely be checking out the author's other books in the future.

The end of an era 🖤
5⭐️ for the end of one of my favourite series ever 🫶🏼 I’ve been waiting on Eli & Ava since God of Malice and they didn’t disappoint at ALL.
Rina Kent’s audiobooks are a favourite of mine to listen to, particularly the Legacy of Gods series! And when I found out that God of War was going to be a duet, I couldn’t wait for it to release. And it didn’t disappoint at all!
I didn’t know what to expect after seeing the trope reveal & spent the first half of GOW frantically trying to figure things out, but this was so much more angsty and heart wrenching than I ever anticipated.
My heart literally broke for Ava, she’s such an incredible character and so sassy despite everything she’d been through. She’d been written to look so perfect in all the other books, so it hit twice as hard when you finally get to be inside her head. Zara Hampton-Brown did such an incredible job at capturing Ava’s personality in her narration. She managed to go from being hilarious and full of life, to a devastating narrative full of pain and worry that she would never gain control of her life.
And Eli? Your honour I love him. Just as twisted and dark as I was expecting but the complete devotion he had in this book? That I was not expecting 🫶🏼 I am a huge fan of Shane East’s audiobooks and he was such a perfect Eli.
All the scenes of my favourite LOG couples made God of War absolute perfection. I will genuinely miss this series so much and hope Rina does come back to revisit this universe one day soon. In the meantime, catch me going back to Royal Elite and starting all over again 🖤

Going to miss these characters
This is the last book in the Legacy of Gods series and the last book in the Rinaverse....for now. It follows Eli and Ava, and while it can be read as a standalone, it's definitely best to read the rest of the series first to avoid potential spoilers since this takes place years down the line.
Eli and Ava broke me, ripped my heart right out of my chest. I sobbed, I smiled, I kicked my feet. I absolutely love them. They are definitely up there in my all time favorite Rinaverse couples (I have a lot of favorite Rinaverse couples). Definitely make sure to check triggers with this one.
AND THE ENDING!!! It was such a perfect ending. Not going to say much more cause no spoilers.
I got the audiobook for this and I loved it so much. As always, Rina picked the perfect narrators for this book. That's no surprise, the Rinaverse audiobooks are definitely some of my all time favorite audiobooks. Audio is always the way to go with Rina Kent books. They just never fail. Shane East and Zara Hampton-Brown were the perfect Eli and Ava.
I'm so sad to leave these characters behind, but I'm so excited for the next chapter from Rina!! I mean dark hockey romance?? Say less. Can't wait for the next rollercoaster from Rina!!

“I can’t trust myself to live without my wife anymore.”
GOW is now been added to my favourite Rina Kent book. It sits right along side God of Fury as a favourite now.
This story felt different to all the other books I’ve read/listened to by Rina.
Ava story touches on subjects that I haven’t read before on this scale. Ava suffers with psychosis. And I think Rina told her story really well. Ava story felt real and the way Eli copes and understands her needs made the story raw and authentic.
I liked that all the other characters took a back seat in this story. They are there but not as involved which I actually preferred. This was their story. Their bubble and I loved reading it. 🫧
I really recommend the audio. It’s literally like being in their heads. And with this being such a deep story listening to it is the best experience.
@shaneeastreads has to be my top male audio narrator. He just gets it right every time. He is chef kiss, at the emotional times, the hard times and them spicy times. @zara_hamptonbrown was the perfect Ava. She brought her story to life.
