Sam wakes to see strange vessels gathered in the skies around London. People stream past, walking silently towards the enormous ships which emit a persistent noise. Only Sam seems immune to the signal. Six months later, Sam is absolutely alone. In his underground bunker he only has food and water for a couple of days. He has no choice but to venture above. Cherub exists for the simplest of reasons: even a master criminal doesn't suspect that the kid next door is a spy. When Cherub uncovers a link between eco-terrorist group Help Earth and a wealthy religious cult known as The Survivors, James Adams is sent to Australia on an infiltration mission. It's his toughest job so far. The Survivors' outback headquarters are completely isolated, and the cult's brainwashing techniques mean James is under massive pressure to conform. This time he's not just fighting terrorists. He's got to battle to keep control of his own mind.

Was this written by a teenager?
Ultra simplistic view of the world. People characterised by their accents. Predictable plot, predictable over-simplistic language.
The good guys are the best, have the best tools, have the fastest this, and biggest that.
Good guys have sense of humour and fantastic attitudes, the bad guys have none and always in a bad mood (and all have bad Russian accents ffs)
I’m guessing the bad guys all dress in black (this book really is that bad)
Who is the target audience for this book? I’m guessing 10-year-olds and language students.
