Summary

Everyone has habits. Some of these are good, others are not. Considering that we are all defined by our actions, it is important that we lose our bad habits. By doing that, our lives will be much better. Unfortunately, losing a bad habit is not that easy.

The kind of life we lead today is essentially the product of our habits - our daily routines - our daily processes. And no one has ever described this natural phenomenon more accurately than the great Greek philosopher Aristotle who said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit.” What we repeatedly do - the things we read and think about and the routine tasks we perform every single day - is what shaped our beliefs and transformed us into the kind of person we are today. It is what molded the type of personality we portray. In other words, our whole life is nothing more than the sum of our habits. How successful or unsuccessful we are is the result of our habits, just as being physically fit or unfit is.

By changing your habits and tagging new ones onto existing ones, you piggyback your way to opening up those neuron areas and increasing the range of your own possibilities. If you don’t think that this is true, then you really do need to examine the contents of this book because you will learn how habits work and how tagging another habit to an existing one can improve your life in so many ways that you never thought possible. In fact, the potential was always there, but you have limited it by seeing the canvas as overflowing, rather than blank and filled with possibility. You limit yourself by thinking in this way, but if you can piggyback your new habits onto existing ones, you can increase the neuron activity in your brain and reap the benefits.

Take action today, and change your life. Be the better version of yourself by building empowering habits!

Easy to listen and implement action items

I've listen several self help books. All have had good ideas and motivating thoughts. This is the first one of the few that actually give you a way to implement new habits. It was also easy to read with clear sentences.
This will be a book on little propensities which are little basic activities you can actualize and apply each and every day for incremental accomplishment in your outcomes throughout everyday life. Regardless of whether that be in your business or expert life, with your wellbeing and wellness, with your connections, and your general joy throughout everyday life. I was very curious when I purchased this book. A very good book with full of information about mini habits.

I Really Wanted to Like It.

This book is an easy listen no complex educational terms to decipher, or head scratching techniques that leave you confused and dismayed. This book is simple straight to the point and gives excellent advice on how to change your mindset as a teacher to improve your student relationships. Just what I needed as a teacher of 11years. It was a wonderful reminder of what is important in a culture that often emphasizes teaching to the test instead of looking at your classroom holistically. Great strategies for new teachers as well as reminders for the veterans. After listen this book, you will save time. I noticed that by following Grace's ideas on how to save time as a teacher that I have more time at home to spend on doing things that I enjoy in my "free" time.

Manual for a change.

Every person defines success differently. To some that is a full bank account, others want a career that will be the envy of all, some just want a family and a simple life but all of us want to be happy and to feel fulfilled. We all need different things to feel successful and author gives us so many different examples that are applicable to all. It is detailed. what a great read and practical book. The author takes you step by step to achieve your goals. When i listen chapter after chapter I was amazed and felt the author really knows me, (but he is not) and this is why you should read this book. The book touches all the small daily things that blocks your yourself from moving forward.

An Instant Classic Self Help Book.

I have finally finished listen this book and have found it to be well written along with being easy to listen. Dean does a great job making the material easy to understand and immediately applicable to your life. It's not a book about making money but ratherit informs you on how to scratch the little things within our daily lives that are holding us back. I have learned so much this book, how to invest in real estate, how to change my bad habits. An amazing book even though I'm not all the way through with it. I’ve always been at the top of my class, graduating fifth with little effort, yet confused about how to get ahead financially. I like this book so much I tried to insert a product link at the end of my review,

The End of Self-Help!!!

Listen, I am a family and lifestyle medicine physician who has been fascinated with improving lives by helping patients improve their lives which ultimately comes down to behavior change. I have devoured hundreds of books looking for a format to present to my patients about habit change and I finally found it! Fantastic book. I've finished it and I'm grateful I purchased the physical book over the Kindle because this is a manual that I will go back and consult frequently. "Not another recycled book on habits..." This was my initial thought, but I was mistaken. This is the first habits book that gives you a practical plan for adding new habits, improving existing habits, and removing bad habits
