Summary

Discover how to create new and better habits in your life. Learn the keys to unlocking your power, and find the happiness that you deserve.

Everyone is tired of mediocrity. You yourself know that you want to do more and be more. So, ask yourself now, do you want to be successful or unsuccessful in life? Are you going to just sit there, or are you going to make yourself better? You know the answer. The answer is always success, and this book is a quick solution to your problems.

While some of these things may have played a part in some people’s rise to success and living an extraordinary life, it still fails to address the hidden driving determinant factor that actually makes it all happen.

After all, luck, inheritance, and talent are all things outside one’s own control, and is it true that there are also people out there with all the advantageous in the world yet still don’t amount to much success in their life? Of course there is, so we need to dive a bit deeper.

There are many bad habits that, if stopped, can make a really positive impact on your life. Smoking, drug-taking, alcohol abuse, and debt are generally the most obvious, but gambling, over-eating, yo-yo dieting, and even nail-biting and procrastination are further examples. Make no mistake, changing bad habits is not easy, but it is completely possible if you learn to understand what the triggers are and can get the right help.

Later on, you will realize that the simple things you do produce a great impact in your life, which will ultimately make you become a better person in the world.

Very interesting!

I was taught by Ursuline nuns and Sisters of Mercy. This book is very interesting. When having to work with relgious garb, the history and the look of the Nun's rob can often be over looked. This book helps to supply a deapth of information on this much needed area of costume design. How wonderful it was to revisit the wardrobe of nuns I have known in the past. Also, excellent fashion history. I wish the nuns had NEVER given up their habits. This is a good book about the use of and thoughts behind the wearing and use of the Habit.

We all have big hopes and dreams but life can get in the way sometimes. This book is a great tool to start kicking up good habits in your life. good book ever for habit. i like this so much i like this book.

A Fascinating book.

How does one describe art, science and wisdom perfectly blended and articulated allowing for the complete capture of a reader's mind and heart? Call it The Power of Habit. This is a great book, filled with useful insights, shared in interesting prose that continually intelligently pieces together its main points from multiple sources. Amazing combination of reality, truth and just plain great stories! The book is packed with information that is helpful to any human for use in personal life or in business or any other arena. We listened to it with our kids on a road trip and they were so into it that they asked us to put it on as soon as we got in the car.

Problems are Habits To Change.

This is a great book for anyone looking to change the small habits we develop in our lives. Some of them we do not even realize. Many of us look at ourselves and want to change certain negative things that we do. Ex: Eating a candy bar when we watch a certain show or always buy popcorn with lots of butter at the movie. This is a great book! In life we often want to better ourselves, yet lofty goals and perpetual setbacks leave us derailed and frusterated. There are a lot of practical tips and advice throughout this book that anyone can apply to their life. Simple steps and concise chapters make this a very easy book to listen. One of my favorite self improvement books of the year.

Unique and absolutely wonderful.

This is a wonderful story. Something to think about. Pleasantly of laughs and serious talks. All characters are believable and well developed. Please read and pass it on. Hits all the caretaker nightmares from insurance to failing health. Then tackles nursing home selection and options. All with humor and personal angst. that its a combination of marvelous humor, and a certain sadness involved in the relationship between an eccentric, aging mother and her care-giving daughter, Susan. Its beautifully written, and very, funny. Ok I liked this book very much because it is about our parent getting old and set in her ways.

Simple Habits deepen understanding!!!

This book is a must read for anyone navigating complexity. The brevity of the list of simple habits provides encouragement to experiment with them. I particularly liked the storytelling in the book. The authors describe the concepts clearly and, stage by stage, open the window into the experiences of two organisations as they grapple with the challenges in their environment and apply the concepts. This is truely the most exciting, beautiful and useful book I've read in ages - simplicity shines through in an integrated way generating great ease and an experience of space as I think about the couple tangled fields of my work and life.
