Summary
For most of her life Tatiana was imprisoned, tortured in the name of science, her DNA used to create a plague that could wipe out the entire population of the Northern Waste. But since her escape she's no one's victim. Not any more. She means to hunt down her tormentor, kill him, and destroy the plague he created. Nothing slows her down or distracts her from her mission. Until she encounters the mysterious Tristan who claims his goals match hers.
Enemy or ally, she has no way to know…but she does know better than to trust a smart and sexy stranger who's alpha to the core. While her body aches for his touch, her mind recognizes that he's a man with secrets and a hidden agenda of his own. She means to discover what he's hiding, but first they'll have to survive ice pirates, a lethal plague, and being trapped in an underground lab, running like rats in a maze from a deadly threat unleashed by a madman.

Northern Waste Book Two
Tatiana has escaped from her life in captivity and experimentation only to find herself underground once again when she meets a mysterious stranger. Tristan will not tell her any more about himself that she reveals to him. However, as the two work together to find the tormentors of their past, they become closer than either could have imagined. Will their secrets allow them to be together, or will they tear the couple apart?
If you've been waiting to see more from Wizard and Yuriko's missing sister, you will not be disappointed!

Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson are back! The two work so well together. The fun little tricks that Vincent uses for voice effects are great.

Survival of the Fitness in the Waste
First of all, while the books in this series are standalone, I think that the series is best enjoyed in order. There are themes and subtle plots that weave their way through the series that are best understood when read in sequence.
That said, I thoroughly enjoyed Tatianna and Tristan's story. I loved how strong and yet vulnerable these characters are. The odds that they face are seemingly insurmountable.
Eve Silver has created a fascinating world and I am already looking forward to whatever comes next! The two narrators have done a great job performing this book. They are easy to listen to and successfully capture the personalities of the characters.

waste
I loved the dual narration from Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson
Tatiana believes that her brother Wizard and sister Yuriko are dead . She spent her youth caged and experimented upon by Duncan Bane and his evil successor, Dr Gavin Ward. Tristan has a lot of secrets, including the reason why he can't let Tatiana leave their underground complex
We have science fiction with action romance, heat and war.
