Summary

In this fast-paced thriller, special operative Nathan McBride battles the most treacherous enemy he's ever faced - and the one hitting closest to home.

After simultaneous deadly terror attacks on San Diego and Washington, DC, hammer the nation, Nathan learns that the mass murders weren't random events - they targeted his family.

And the threat is far from over. Part of a larger plot involving a sabotaged North Korean bioweapons facility and an ISIS training camp in northern Mexico, a third attack - bigger than 9/11 - is being hatched by cold-blooded killers.

With the US Border Patrol and the CIA supporting the mission, Nathan teams up with longtime faily friend Vincent Beaumont, the CEO of America's largest private military contractor.

In a harrowing firefight, Nathan's assault team will have to neutralize the terrorist cell, recover the weapons of mass destruction, and get them safely across the international border. The lives of thousands are at risk as Nathan weighs his lust for revenge against the most crucial part of the mission - taking the ringleaders alive - which might just cost him his life.

Very well narrated.

Loved this book. Although at times quite graphic it was really relevant to the storyline.

Another brilliant McBride thriller

What a combination of Andrew's writing and Dick's narration. Full of action in the true Nathan an Hav style.

Amazing fast moving McBride in His Environment

After each book I wonder how Andrew is going to out do this one, but he does. Hired to.. Is no different. Nathan, Harvey and family in there environment. Good to here from Gin and Lauren also. Without dropping any spoilers be ready for a shock or two.

the 8th Book in the series

Nathan Macbride and Harvey Fontana are again involved in a National Security event that leads them on a trail to Mexico.

What starts out as a normal day at the office escalates when a friend calls and Nathan goes to help. Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction and Private Army's all are part of this twisting plot.

Is this the last we see of Nathan and Harvey? I hope not.

Great Story

Was a great story, which is what again prevented me from turning it off within the first 15 minutes.
Unfortunately Dick Hill makes everyone sound like a slow whitted asthmatic old man.
He reads well to be fair, he just doesn't portray the quick whitted and reacting service personnel and agents he is portraying. Rather some octogenarian with breathing difficulties recalling the good times.
That said, I'm looking forward to Nathan and Harvey's next adventure.
