Great way to teach about Pearl Harbor

my 12 yo daughter asked about Pearl Harbor Day on the calendar, so I was looking for a way to bring it home after she did a couple hours internet digging. This was perfect. There is obviously much more to learn, but this gives the kids a good foundation to learn from.

Awesome book by Lauren Tarshis

I thought this book was really good because I love the I Survived series and all the books I’ve read in it, this book has a 1st person POV and a 3rd person POV, being the narrator, it describes what would had happened to someone in Hawaii in 1941, just the best. I would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for some realistic fiction history, it’s a real event that has people in this book that weren’t real, unless there was a person named Mac in Hawaii. Definitely would recommend to anyone over the age of 6... maybe.

Fictional story

I was wondering how long it would take for a 1 hour story on Pearl Harbor to mention the arresting of innocent Japanese Americans and by God this author managed to do it!
