Confusion with Love!
What did you love best about Immortal?
Although I was confused at the beginning about the POV change, I loved how Nicole branched out to the secondary characters from the first three books in the series and made it their story. Yet, she still kept the story wove around Jaevid.
Who was your favorite character and why?
It was still Jaevid, because I'd already fallen in love with him from the first three books
Which character – as performed by Jesse Einstein – was your favorite?
This is a tough question to answer because I'd already fallen in love with Jaevid from the firt three books in the series. And, I can say I'd grown fond of Felix during those three books because of his loyalty to Jaevid. But 2/3 of Immortal is from Felix, so I couldn't help but move from fond to being in love with Felix. So sorry, I guess I have two favorites.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Oh boy did I have an extreme reaction! First, I was confused about the POV change and was screaming "where's my Jaevid!". Then I was like, "Okay, but this is Felix's POV and I like him, so I'll keep listening." And then boom! I cried like a baby in the first chapter and she had me hooked. Seriously, how can I cry when I knew Jaevid wasn't dead? But Felix didn't know and she had my heart breaking.
Any additional comments?
Jesse Einstein help this novel come to life for me. And even though I was confused about the POV change, this was still well worth the listen. In fact, if you haven't read the previous books in the serious. DO IT NOW! Best series I've listened to in a while.

My first experience with audio books.
I have been an avid reader all my life. Somehow I just didn't think anything or anyone could bring a story to life the way myself and my own imagination could. WOW! I am her to tell you I was quite simply,
As wrong about that as I could be. This aeries and the way Jesse reads it
Completely dropped me INTO the story as if I were there!!
I remember at the 2nd book thinking OMG I've ruined my book reading ability. I'm never going to enjoy reading again. I want it read to me!
So, I'm going to go read a book now but its just not going to be as good.
So thanks guys :-( and also Thanks guys :-) ,For a truly great service you have. I really enjoy the way you present your stories to the world.
My only concern. And I don't know if I'm right. Is $15.00 a month
Then I have to pay between 10 and 20 more dollars for each book.
I'm sorry, I go through books at an alarming rate and those prices will
Ensure that I can't read more than a few books a month. And I can't have that. So in short I loved thee experience.. Thank you for the free trial and credits. But it just to expensive for me to read as !much! as I am used to. Maybe I'm missing something. Am I wrong or does this feel pricey guys??
I'd love feedback or a response from audibles management team if there is a way to read say 8 to 10 books a month w/o having to eat Ramon noodles every day :-).
Thanks and I do love your service!!! But I drive a Ford not a Mercedes.
Duane Warren.

Well Done
I have read this series over three times now and it never ceases to make me laugh or feel excited. Even though the story isn’t very original, it doesn’t hold back. Nicole Conway writes every character with depth and always finds some way to surprise me with them. That’s why it’s so sad for me when one of them dies. The death of Leon in the books before is what really got me and is also the reason I wanted to see how this story would unfold. But when I think about Leon’s death I realize that there was a good reason and it wasn’t just a death to throw the readers off. If he hadn’t died Felix wouldn’t have had cared about him much. The remorse of hearing what Leon’s family had said about him over his dead body probably helped Felix to fight stronger so that his death wouldn’t be for nothing.
The same thing goes with other people’s death in this book. Other readers can probably imagine Jaevid’s desperation when they die and the anxiety he has about the weight that now lies on his shoulders to end the war and avenge them. Since he has lost people he knows and loves, now he has strength and/or another reason to put a stop to the sickness that is spreading in Maldabar (hope I spelt that right).
All this to say that I am glad the author doesn’t pull any punches. It makes for a better story and a more realistic one. I have really enjoyed this series and I am interested to read the next books Nicole Conway writes.

Be ready to have your heart ripped out
I thoroughly enjoyed the series and thought it was well written and had a cool and engaging concept. However, I write this review as a warning to readers… as someone who is very sensitive due to loss and grief, this book made me cry my eyes out and feel utterly depressed for days. The ending is very painful and so is the beginning. There is so much loss and I can’t say that the ending will satisfy any heart ache. If you enjoy reading about grief and getting the feels, I certainly recommend this to you, but as someone who struggles with these kinds of things, I thought it would be fair to warn those of you who may be reading these reviews. It is very hard. I am timid to approach the sequel series because of the pain I fear lies in those pages. In any case, approach with caution and thanks for reading my review <3
