Summary
A dark and twisty psychological thriller from the number-one best-selling author of The Woman Next Door.
Her dream home will become her worst nightmare....
A strange encounter.
Neve comes across a troubled woman called Isabelle on Waterloo Bridge late one night. Isabelle forces a parcel into Neve's hands and jumps to her death in the icy Thames below.
An unexpected gift.
Two weeks later, as Neve's wreck of a life in London collapses, an unexpected lifeline falls into her lap - a charming cottage in Cornwall left to her by Isabelle, the woman on the bridge. The solution to all her problems.
A twisted secret.
But when Neve arrives, alone in the dark woods late one night, she finds a sinister-looking bungalow with bars across its windows. And her dream home quickly becomes her worst nightmare - a house hiding a twisted secret that will change her life forever....

Great book!
This book is fantastic! Excellent storyline and so well narrated that the characters really came to life. The ending was a total surprise - I had no idea of what was coming! Definitely recommend and have just downloaded The Woman Next Door by Cass Green. Hope it's as good as this one!!

Excellent storyline!
Having just had cataract surgery, I had to turn to some audiobooks Id downloaded. This was the first one I read! It was great to be able to imagine the story unfolding. I enjoyed listening to the different voices by the reader, which brought the characters to life. I loved the storyline! I found myself trying to figure the story out as it went along, but the punch at the end was very good and I didn’t see that one coming! I will definitely being reading more of Class’s work!

good twisty story
ive listened to this book twice i like cass greens books this is my favourite,i had to listen again to check i had remembered it correct a little let down by the ending i guessed the twist but a very good book ,not supernatural what so ever more of piecing the twists together as you go along.,The narrator was very good i found i could listen to her and get the story.i woud recommend giving this book a listen within the first few pages i was gripped.

A good story but could have been 5*
I thought it was a well written story, quite gripping at times but the main character's continual swearing got on my nerves and I thought it was unnecessary. However, overall, I enjoyed it.

Pleasantly surprised
Bought this as on promotion and had not read this author before. A very easy listen and a good pace. Characterisation was good and nothing too far fetched. Only criticism was that main character was a bit over emotional. Good twist at the end.Would read more from this author.
