Summary

When humanity faces an undead nightmare, one man’s party turns into a race to survive.

Logan has always taken things a little too seriously. So when his New Year's Eve attempt to unwind descends into chaos, he's the first to realize it's no joke. After Logan and his friends miss the evacuation transport, he's given a choice: lead the group to safety or watch all of his friends come back from the dead....

When Logan discovers the military and government have no interest in saving them, making it to sanctuary alive may be their only hope. And after he learns his party of survivors might hold the key to a cure, the fate of humanity rests on his shoulders. But saving his species could mean sacrificing himself....

Can Logan stave off the end of the world, or will one wrong decision doom humankind?

In the End is a fast-paced post-apocalyptic zombie thriller. If you like nightmarish settings, reluctant heroes, and action-packed adventures, then you’ll love GJ Stevens’ spine-chilling novel.

In the end

A well written, interesting zombie story with a cliff hanger, great characters and well narrated by Jim Harbourne. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Zombies in Cornwall

Loved this book very well written of a group of people having the worst new year ever.
It is a rather dark story that gives you hope and then will tear that hope way.
The charters are great very well thought out and the setting is also very good.
Loved the story a lot and I'm looking forward to the next book.
Best enjoyed while walking home in the dark :)

Great listen!

OK I will admit at the start I thought it was just going to be any old zombie story, but the further it went on i was hooked and nearly every chapter ended with a cliff hanger! Cant wait to find out what happens next!

Fantastic Listen!

Refreshing, fast paced, well written and believable! Loved this listen From start to finish. I found myself getting really invested in the characters also. I love the genre but find myself listening to a lot of American Authors as they tend to have an edge ... not this time. And the narration was well pretty excellent... I normally find myself irritated by the boring hum drum of the British voice. Especially when they try to be ever so... but this was run of the mill, ordinary voice that I didn't want to stuff my ears up and rock in a corner in pain over. most excellent! love love loved it!

Fast paced zombie fest!!

This was the first audio book that I have finished. I tend to stick to autobiographies if I ever find time to read! A little persuasion from my little sister prompted me to start using Audible.
Once I had downloaded this book I have to admit I was a little shocked to see there was 91 chapters! Please don't let this put you off!! It becomes irrelevant and I found myself wanting more.
The story is based around a zombie apocalypse but from the view of ordinary people. It is fast paced and does jump between characters. On many occasions I found myself saying " oh just one more chapter" I couldn't put it down! I found myself completely immersed in the story.
I look forward to the next instalment.

Slow and Steady

The story is a bit slow, but that's because I am used to super fast action packed Zombie series. That does not mean the story is bad. It's pretty good and some times slow and steady wins the race. You care enough about the characters to want to know what's going to happen next. I look forward to reading the next book because this book left us with a big unanswered question.
