About this listen
Now a Top 100 Amazon Best Seller
From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes a new friends-to-lovers, MC romance about the asshole biker next-door and the girl who loves him....
He moved in next door.
Handsome as sin, older in a way that meant forbidden.
He had tattoos on his hands and wickedness tucked in his grin.
I was a goner as girl to a man they called Casanova for a reason. He would never love me, at least not the way I needed him to.
I tried to move on. But I couldn’t turn my back on him or The Fallen MC.
So when they needed me most, I offered the only thing of value I could use to help them.
My body.
And when helping them meant putting my life on the line, Nova had to decide just how much he was willing to do to get me out alive.
A stand-alone friends-to-lovers age-gap romance in The Fallen Men series.

I absolutely loved to hear Nova and Lila come to live via Audio and how much more I connected to them.

😍
At five years old, Lila knew that she was in love with her new teenage neighbor. When life took a tragic turn that made the family next door her new foster family, her bond with the handsome teenage only grew. The years go by and Lila is now an adult and those feelings for the man now known as Nova that some passed off as a silly crush have only intensified and Lila's unrequited feelings put their lifelong friendship to the test.
Book 5 of the Fallen Men series delivers highs, lows, angst, passion, heartbreak and joy. The bond Lila & Nova have can't be denied and they fight for each other in their own ways, Lila is strong and fierce and knows what she wants and isn't afraid to risk her own heart for it. Nova is a Wolf in sheep's clothing he presents a happy go lucky persona that actually hides a well of self doubt and feelings of inadequacy when it comes to being the kind of man he thinks Lila deserves. The romance between these two is gritty, frustrating but heartachingly beautiful Lila definitely forgives Nova a tad too easily at times and I wish she pushed back more and made Nova work for it more especially with the amount he pushed her away. I can't fully articulate what I loved about Nova I just did, I think it was seeing him through Lilas eyes in all honesty plus his dirty mouth didn't hurt. 🥵 This is another favourite of mine from this series and I loved rereading it and enjoyed it just as much this time round as the first, Stephanie Nemeth-Parker & Aiden Snow did a fantastic job with their narration. One more reread to go before I'm finally on to the newest release in the series. 🌶🌶🌶

This is my favourite fallen men audible by far… I had already read the book a couple of times. Giana’s words are just fantastic. She is just so incredibly talented.
I find, when reading that I’m in such a rush to find what happens next that I don’t fully appreciate the genius of Giana.
Listening to it gives you the chance to fully immerse yourself in all that goodness.
Stephanie and Aiden did a 5 🌟 narration

Age gap, brother's best friend MC romance
Giana Darling’s Fallen Men is one of the best MC romance series out there. I have loved every single love story of the bad a## bikers so far. Each story is unique, gritty, passionate and deep. Her characters always have to work for the happy end, and we readers suffer right alongside with them. Especially with Lila. Her unrequited love for her big brother’s best friend. Her pining, the endless time it took for them to get together, made even more excruciating by the fact that the first chapters were entirely flashbacks to their past. While helping the reader to learn their connection, see it grow and blossom, it also made Lila’s yearlong pining, yearning so. Much. Worse. Add to that Ms. Darling’s trademark angst and suspension, along with a surprise twist, and you have a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat through its entire length, even more enhanced by the narration of Aiden Snow, a fave of mine, and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker, a new to me narrator, who both did a tremendous job bringing the characters to life and giving them even more depth. Amazing!

Nova and Lila
I don't know why I put this off for as long as I did, but I'm kicking myself because this was just as great as everyone said it would be. Almost every book in this series has been a massive hit for me, because the writing is so good and I am a sucker for MC romances with angst. Add in to this the brother's best friend trope and the unrequited love..how could I possibly rate this any lower than 5 stars?? Nova and Lila do not have the best of starts but they nearly always have each other. It might have taken me a while (by my standard) to read this but it was worth every tear I shed reading it.

Underwhelmed!
Although this is a "standalone", it isn't as there are so many characters and situations that if you haven't read the previous books, there are aspects in this one which wouldn't make sense.
This is about unrequited love and I loved the start of the book learning about Lila "the flower child" and Nova, not that I ever understood why he turned out like he did, so different from the rest of his family.
The middle of the book was incredibly tedious and I could have skipped countless chapters where nothing really happened except loads of boring repetitive sex. Then the end of the book was exciting as hell and I couldn't read it fast enough!
So in summary, I loved the story of Nova and his flower child, but felt that it should have had more information on Dane's military career and how the sex trafficking was brought to heel. So, feeling a bit underwhelmed with the loose end!
Thr narration was sublime though!
