About this listen
Innocent Graves is the eighth novel in Peter Robinson's Inspector Banks series, following on from Dry Bones That Dream.
One foggy night, Deborah Harrison is found lying in the churchyard behind St Mary's, Eastvale. She has been strangled with the strap of her own school satchel.
But Deborah was no typical 16-year-old. Her father was a powerful financier who moved in the highest echelons of industry, defence and classified information. And Deborah, it seemed, enjoyed keeping secrets of her own....
With his colleague Detective Constable Susan Gay, Inspector Alan Banks moves along the many suspects guilty of crimes large and small. And as he does so, plenty of sordid secrets and some deadly lies begin to emerge....

Dated But Good
Okay. It is dated. Like most books you can tell by the type of car. In this particular case it is mention of a floppy disc. that being said it is a good story well read. another reviewer mentioned it is because it is misogynistic. No did not get that at all. I've read, sorry, listened to many of Peters books. Many years ago Neil Pearce did 2 hour tapes and cd's of his books. which were great. Just goes to show how much filling writers do. But in this case, miss a chapter and you'll lose the plot. In my opinion worth a credit.

Love this series. Good plot and characters and very well narrated. Highly recommended even if you’ve seen it on the tv.

Dated
I find if I forward a lot of the unnecessary details of women’s anatomy the story is bearable. These books highlight to me why we needed to address sexism years ago and am glad we did! Very dated. I like the narrator.

Ludicrous .
This is so bad that it defies belief and how anyone could pen such utter drivel is beyond any credence . Along with the foul language it’s a total waste of money .
