Another fascinating insight from this author
This book is another fascinating journey across the remoter regions of our planet examining the uniqueness of the animals which allow them to survive in this hostile environment.

Felt like we had the animals with us on the trip!
I have always loved the animals of the arctic so I had to get this book. It’s a great run through lots of rare and exotic or just plain cute animals from the Sea Otters to the Caribou and the Walrus along with some that you might expect. The descriptions and information on all the animals painted a picture that made it so easy to imagine them. Sometimes I felt like I was looking at a picture! I also loved that the author gave me information about the arctic itself and climate change. It seemed especially important to hear about all the animals that might be affected and, because it felt like I had just met them, it made it all feel a bit more real. Great book and the quiz at the end was loved by the kids!

awesome
Easy to listen to for the kids and the solid narration helped a lot. I haven't tried it on a car ride but I put it on for a while indoors instead of having tablets and screens on and it keeps the kids attention very easily and they share what they've learned :)

fun facts
me and my daughter listen to this as we love animals , especially my daughter she loved learning about glaciers and the very harsh Arctic conditions. loved the fun facts about polar bears and the Arctic Fox
