A convenient learning experience.

This book is easily the next step to taking basic and intermediate French comprehension to the next level. Featuring a wide range of vocabulary across carefully selected short stories, the listening experience is not only pleasant, but actually educative. The stories are narrated in a clear and articulated manner by a native speaker, which can help the listener to improve on pronunciation. Even for advanced non-native speakers, some of the words available through this book can still be useful. A great work from Lingo mastery.

Captivating stories, as promised!

The stories in this book are so interesting, you just want to continue listening. While, the goal is to educate-- especially towards improving the listener's French skills, the book is equally entertaining. As expected, it delivers on the learning front as well: carefully selected vocabulary, which are convenient for the average french learner to understand in the context of usage. Also, there is a review/summary of the key words and lessons per chapter, which makes the lessons even more specific to the dutiful listener and learner. Usually, it is difficult to strike a balance between a learning and entertaining experience; however, I think this book has found a way to achieve this feat. The narration is equally good. It features native speakers giving clues as to how commonly used French words are pronounced, however, in a conversational context. Excellent work.

Great purchase

Fantastic to get a native French speaker who pronounces things clearly for learners. The added in pdf text transcript is also a nice touch for added ease of learning. Great work Oscar!

A great way to improve in French

Stories are part of the root of culture and ideas behind a language. Listening to, and telling stories, is a great way to improve and show a mastery of any language. While this is not a beginner course in French, it is well suited for those with some understanding of how the language works, but need some help getting familiar with a lot of vocabulary. Each story is engaging, yet educative, in terms of the terminology introduced. Also, listening to someone speak the language in a native tongue really helps with learning the proper pronunciation of some words and usage of phrases.
The narration was well paced and suited for the entertaining feature of the stories, along with the learning goal of the audiobook. Excellent book.

Great audio book for listening practice!

This is a great resource for building up listening skills. I find it works best to listen and read the available PDF at the same time. The short stories were quite long but educational. Really enjoyed!

No noun genders given in vocab, bad English pronunciation and translation, sometimes just wrong!
