It goes from bad to worse when even on a SWAT call, the women won’t stay away.
It was the worst time of her life. Rowen Roberts had finally admitted to herself that the man she loved would never love her back. She was just fired from her job for violating client confidentiality, and to make matters worse, she’s held up at gunpoint in a convenience store where she only wanted some ice cream to help mask the pain.
The moment the gun is pressed to her forehead, she knows she has a decision to make. Follow the rules and maybe possibly live, or go down swinging where at least she can salvage just a little bit of her dignity.

Narrator voice.
The book is great I love it! But the lady narrator voice is awful to listen to. The story is about young people and she sounds like 60 years old grandma. Sorry

On and on
Let's start with the narration. The male voice is a nice smooth listen and has a good range when covering over characters dialogue. The female wasn't so great. She sounds monotonous and bored.
The story was OK but could have done with a bit more of a plot. The reason I've scored this so low is the sex scenes. I don't know about you, but sex with so much dialogue isn't exactly hot. I also don't know anyone who speaks so much while doing the deed, it's as if they're reading out War and Peace!
This could have been good, but excessive character dialogue at the worst time, made what should have been hot and steamy more like a hug with a smelly wet mop.
