Summary
She's his opposite in every way...and the greatest temptation he's ever known.
Reserved, controlled, and proper to a fault, Kai Young has neither the time nor inclination for chaos - and Isabella, with her purple hair and inappropriate jokes, is chaos personified.
With a crucial CEO vote looming and a media empire at stake, the billionaire heir can't afford the distraction she brings.
Isabella is everything he shouldn't want, but with every look and every touch, he's tempted to break all his rules...and claim her as his own.
Bold, impulsive, and full of life, Isabella Valencia has never met a party she doesn't like or a man she couldn't charm...except for Kai Young.
It shouldn't matter. He's not her type - the man translates classics into Latin for fun, and his membership at the exclusive club where she bartends means he's strictly off limits.
But she can't deny that, beneath his cool exterior, is a man who could make her melt with just a touch.
No matter how hard they try, they can't resist giving into their forbidden desires.
Even if it costs them everything.

Seriously who approved this British accent
Seriously as a British person I am personally offended by the male narrator for this audiobook. I’m sorry but no one speaks like that. Unfortunately it kinda ruined it for me I couldn’t listen to it and take it seriously. A shame because I think I would have gotten more into it otherwise!
Gave 2 stars because the female narrator was good!

Not as good as previous Ana books
Plot weak and in my opinion not up to the standard of Ana’s usual books. I found the male narration awful and if I am honest, I found it hard to like both the male and female main characters

Overall good
I enjoyed the story but the first one in this series is better with better actors and storyline.
I just couldn’t get past the dodgy British accent, and being from England, there was some words which made me laugh tbh.
Would still recommend tho :)

Best book in the series!
I have listened/read the King of series and thoroughly enjoyed them all however this book has the best story line in my opinion. If you’re stuck in whether to listen, do it! It’s worth it. Kai’s accent takes some getting used to if you are a British listener.

Not as catching
I struggle to listen. The male narrator wasn't quite good. the story wasn't as good as the ones in Twisted series or King of Wrath.
I enjoyed the previous 5 books and I couldn't stop reading but this was boring. not bad but not what I expected

Kai and Isabella
I loved this book even more than the first book Kai is the best boyfriend anyone could ask for and Isabella is a very interesting character

Really enjoyed this
I was a bit dubious about listening to this when I considered some of the other reviews but i liked the story and I thought both narrators did a great job. I am waiting for the next book in the series as am enjoying all of Ana Huang’s books at the moment and can relax by listening to audio. I would recommend this.

Not as good as the first book
I am a huge fan of Huang's writing but this one, for me, fell short against the others. The plot and story wasn't anything special, in fact it read like it had been hastily put together with very weak ideas that you can read in almost all billionaire CEO romances. My even bigger disappointment was with the narration I'm afraid. it just didn't flow well and the overplayed English accent was hard to listen to.

Lovely romantic story
The story of Kai and Isa was exciting and gripping. The relatable characters, the plot sometimes unexpected and the conclusion, made this an enjoyable listen.
