Critic reviews

"The writing is as fresh as a cowslip, as sharp as a kitchen-knife, and sometimes as coarse as a fishwife." ( The Telegraph)

Brilliant outstanding

I hope this goes to TV because I haven't laughed at a sketch show like this since Little Britain

Comic Genius

Laura Solon's Radio 4 show, available here as the complete series is nothing short of comic genius.

A fast-paced sketch show, the characters are never introduced, they just 'are'. Many of them are on-off soundbites, but there are many recurring characters, the greatest of which is 'the woman in the house' who is a mad old German woman who obviously has lots of people workign for her, but her only friend is 'China Lion'. She appears every episode, and every episode has a different story of how she came to acquire China Lion.

There is also the stately home owner with a Red Setter called Lindy whose estate is overrun with rats.

I defy you to listen to more than one episode without losing just a little bit of wee.
