About this listen
The first in the Chase and Rowan series, this lesbian romance is sure to keep you coming back for more.
Rowan St. John is on her way back home with an empty horse trailer and down a driver, a difficult situation when you have a contract you can't fulfill.
Chase Meadows had it all, until she came home one day to find her lover in bed with another woman. Now she’s left with nothing but her truck, her horse, and a definite need to find a new start. California was about as far away from North Carolina and the past as she could go. All she had to do was get there with her pregnant mare, Smoothy - the only thing she had left in her name that she would never give up. When Rowan St. John responds to her ad for a last-minute horse transport, Chase thought she had finally gotten a break.
When they meet, one to cancel and the other with no other options left, a deal is struck that benefits both women, and sends them on an unexpected journey together. After being so recently burned, will Chase find it in her to accept a second chance?

Just Lovely
This was a sweet little tale about how Rowan and Chase meet, and being the first in a series, I really hope that more of them will be available in audiobook format, because the narrator really bought the story to life.
Rhavensfyre’s poetic words, were illuminated by Juli’s brilliant accent, voices for the characters, and pace at which she delivered this story. The excitement of the ride, as Rowan heads home after meeting Chase and doing her a massive favour in transporting her horse, and helping her to find her new start.
This was so romantic, light-hearted with humour, and the characters had a natural, playful chemistry that made them beautifully endearing. As a listener, I really connected with both of them, their story, and can’t wait to learn more about their future.
A short audiobook, perfect for a little pick me up.
