About this listen
Crimson Oliver is a bad witch.
She's not wicked, but every spell she tries to cast goes awry in one way or another. After her last screw-up, the high priestess has threatened to bind her powers and turn her human for good.
Crimson's solution? Challenge the priestess to a battle of magic she can't possibly win.
Not without a miracle, anyway.
Enter hotter-than-hellfire demon Mike Cortez. He's a devil's advocate who can make anyone's dreams come true…for a price. He's had his eye on the seductive witch for a while, and Satan is in the market for a new assistant.
But Mike wants to date her, not damn her.
When he accidentally makes a deal condemning Crimson to an eternity of satanic servitude, they'll have to go to hell and back to outsmart the devil and save the witch's soul.
Ride along on a journey from the Big Easy to hell and back again in this fast, steamy paranormal romantic comedy!

Funny
Another great listen with The Nocturnes of NOLA this time Crimson has to battle it out with evil witch Rosemary or lose her magic and leave NOLA. She meets Mike a demon and accidentally sells her soul to the devil now they both have to rush to save her soul. I laughed out loud several times especially at the Devil went down to Georgia reference and Hollie Jackson is just perfect for these books.

Life full of love and saving
Book 3 in the series. . Carrie Pulkinds had me glued to the story . I absolutely loved how she took a witch that had great things going for her but Crimson just keeps on mixing things up. She doesn’t believe in herself.
Things even get more spiced up when she challenges the high priestess.
Love how Carrie Pulkinen threw in a half demon who teaches Crimson how to get things straightened out , and Mike is that demon , he also loves Crimson. He loves her so much that he’s willing to make a deal with the devil for her . Love how there were some twists and turns. Love how Carrie Pulkinen threw in some scenes that will make you laugh also
Hollie Jackson was fantastic. Her voice is strong, clear and she did the tones for the characters. You actually knew who each character was

Great light-hearted romcom
I am really enjoying this series. This is book 3, and although characters appear from previous books, you don't need to have read them to enjoy this one.
Crimson is a witch with wonky magic and it just keeps getting her into trouble. Demon Mike has had his eye on Crimson for a while but hasn't had the chance to act on it.
This romcom was just so lighthearted and easy to read, that I couldn't help but enjoy it.
Holly Jackson is amazing at the narration, she just brings the characters to life. Using slightly different voices so you know who is talking.

Fun Time!
The best way to describe reading this book was that it was a fun time! I loved the storyline, the characters were funny, entertaining and endearing. I also enjoyed the writing and the dialogue. The narrator of the audiobook was also amazing. Amazing experience!

A brilliant book
Life’s A Witch Audio Book by Carrie Pulkinen is the third book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series. This is one so the most entertaining series that I have read and this book is no exception. Crimson is one of those characters that is so memorable and entertaining I could listen to this book just for her. She was brilliant when I was reading the book but listening to it she just came alive. I could picture her so much better and felt like you really got to feel her personality. I could so easily imagine everything from her mannerisms to try the way she spoke. For me this audio book was all about her. I am so glad that it is the same narrator for this book as it was was for the previous. She does such a great job of bringing the book to life and really makes it so easy to listen to. This is another brilliant success for one of my new favourite authors.

Fantastic series
Crimson is a witch, her spells tend to misfire more than they work. After her latest mishap she ends up in front of the council of elders. The leader of the council Rosemary has had it in for Crimson for a long time and see's an opportunity to strip Crimson of her powers and exile her.
Crimson challenges Rosemary for leadership of the council in a last ditch effort to stay a witch.
Mike is a devils advocate in recovery. He is late with his monthly payment to the devil. So when the devil offers him a new deal. He is persuaded to take it all he has to do is get a witch to become the devils new assistant .
The relationship between Crimson and Mike is hilarious. I enjoyed this story immensely the characters really come to life. the narration is excellent.
I look forward to reading and listening to more by this author

LOL
Soo funny, it had me laughing outloud a lot. Demons requiring cake, stinky bathrooms, climbing through windows, binding contracts, phrophecies, fear and misinterpretations, and a quick trip to hell and a get of hell card played. This was a great book. Cosumed in one swoop. Well worth my evening.
