This is a new to me author. I quite liked the writing, world building, and character development they used. The book did feel quite a lot longer than the 32 chapters it is, though.
I may well return to series once I've cleared other books that have been sat on my tbr pile for ages. Because as enjoyable as it was, I don't feel compelled to finish the series immediately!🤷🏻♀️
I thought the narrator did a great job. Her characters voices were easy to distinguish, and her cadence was pleasant!⭐️

Read with feeling
storyline was interesting and kept you guessing but the narrator was excellent, her voice alone kept you interested in the story

Easy Reqd
Just enough drama to keep you interested. It's a little annoying that the MC keeps repeating what her magic is, but not so much that I wouldn't read the next book.
