Nice introduction to some valuable ideas

I enjoyed this book and found the concepts and ideas valuable and interesting. However, it would have been great if it had gone into some more detail and provided a more complete set of lessons and actionable practices in order to fully learn how to do it and how to best apply it.

Critical Thinking

I have given this book, by Dave Gray et al, 4 stars not because it lacks good advice, is easy to listen too or is poorly narrated...all of these areas are reached if not surpassed!

The loss of a star has been awarded due to liminal thinkings comparability to critical thinking and as such not really offering any ground breaking knowledge.

So in short, this is a good book, but alas nothing you most likely haven't heared before.

meh

just didn't grab me. he's describing a way of looking at the world but I'm not sure why it's necessary. it seems like a lot of abstract philosophising

Fresh perspective on Keeping an Open Mind

Thank you for writing this thoughtful piece of literature. It sparked some positive thinking and new imagination. This will certainly help to inspire deep critical thinking that would lead to more inspiration.

Reader was spot on and some of the information presented are very practical in their applicability.

Very engaging listen about different approaches

It was really great to listen to this audiobook. It inspires to review our current beliefs, challenge status quo. It's structured very well in 6 principles and 9 practices. Each is backed up with several well chosen and nicely told stories, and also each chapter has suggested exercises. This is a short listen and I was even comfortable with listening to it with 1.8x speed. And I've used the time regained thanks to reading speed for making notes and think some things through. Really, this audiobook is an example of maximum content in minimum words and I've enjoyed ever one of them. Dave, thanks for writing it and Dan, thanks for reading it in so engaging way!

A well told story but nothing new to many

This is a succinct and well told set of stories. The author is clearly knowledgeable and writes well. But liminal thinking, it seems, is 'simply' about keeping an open mind, being reflexive, and engaging critically with facts and opinions. If you're new to the topic, you'd do well to listen to this book. If not, it's just a good refresher, or a few hours of entertainment.
