About this listen
A 300-year-old legend. Deep below the ocean's surface. And the search might kill them all...
Days and nights in unforgiving seas. Stuck aboard a rundown trawler. Two crew he can't control. And a despicable owner that doesn't care to know their names. Not where Jed thought he'd be.
But on the final turn, everything changes. Artifacts spill to the deck. Lost for centuries. An adventure from the Caribbean to the Cape unfolds.
Relics linking to an astonishing, unfinished tale. A disturbing slice of new-world history. Plagued of disaster, wrought with death......and wrapped in immense fortune. But someone is prowling around the docks.
Someone vicious. Will Jed and his troubled shipmates decipher the clues in time? Or be thrown one by one into a watery grave?
"Lions in the Water weaves a smart blend of historical events with curious figures. Wicked and cut-throat, with a thrilling climax that will leave readers clinging to the rail!"

Brilliant listen.
This type of genre is not one I’d normally go for. But I’m really glad i did!! Fantastic story line. Great characters and the narrator was absolutely spot on. I’d recommend this book.

I got this audiobook via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.
The narrator did a fantastic job of breathing life into this book and making this a fun and entertaining read.
The author is a gifted story-teller with an engaging story line and characters that keep you coming back for more.
The narrative refers to a 300-year-old mythology about the Spanish settlers on Amelia Island. It appears that there is a treasure at the bottom of the sea. First mate Jed is stranded in the eastern Atlantic and in need of money to get his life back. I absolutely enjoyed this historical fiction, which was well-researched and written. Lots of action and would make a great movie.
