Summary

Once, I was a broke college student. Now, it seems I'm destined to rule as the Lightbringer - queen of the demon realm. Except I have competition in the form of Orion, the lord of chaos. Like me, he has been marked as a leader. We can't keep our hands off each other, even if he swore an oath to kill me.

It seems we both want the same thing - the crown. And, in this battle of wills, only one of us will be left standing.

Together with Book 1 it's JUST about enough

So Book 1 and Book 2 combined feel like JUST enough story, really they shouldn't be two books though, they should be one. The story feels very stretched out. I've enjoyed other works by C.N. Crawford more - this one feels too thin. There are some good elements in there, but overall it's just all a little unsatisfying. The narrator is good, I actually thought she might be British until she attempted to pronounce the English word for @ss - why do American's always lean on the R?!

Not as good as the first book

Enjoyable in parts but it was long winded and the plot was bit dull in large sections..
