Overall an awesome listen
This was a really enjoyable story, I loved the listen and the spin on the Greek mythology I love so much. I think it might be a bit harder to get to grips with if you haven’t had much exposure to some of the basic Greek mythology legends.
Something that was hard to follow was the constant references back and forth of the old god and the new god but for multiple gods.

For Greek mythology nerds
Prior knowledge of Greek mythology is helpful to fully understand and appreciate the story...but not essential. I listen to my books in the car and this made me drive slower and hope for traffic so I could listen more! haha! Really gripping storyline with yet another battle around every corner!

So listen to a book I've already read?
Especially a book that you can not read again because if the amazing plot twist and yet fell in love all over again?

The heroine was amazing! And the plot was ᴀᴅᴅɪᴄᴛɪɴɢ I couldn't stop the book, I was under AB's ꜱᴘᴇʟʟ.
Definitely one of my favorite book on 2023!

Lore
One of my favourite audiobooks purchased so far - Fryda Wolff was the perfect choice of narrator and I look forward to reading more Alexandra Bracken in the future.
It is quite lengthy and there are many characters and details to keep in mind as the story progresses but the ending pays off for the patience - a good of character development transpires by the culmination for several of the key characters.
My only issue was with Lores age, which is 17 at the begining of this Agon, and I can't help but feel it would have been that much better if she had been 24.

Overall a very interesting story
Enjoyed the world and the story - one fault with it is how some elements needed fleshing out more and instead felt rushed. Typical teenage romance but too predictable. Makes for a nice easy listen though

Really interesting
Why did it end like that??? Someone please tell me there will be a second book? I have more questions than when I started it.
This was such a good listen, so different for YAF. Keeps you guessing! Loved it.

Like Percy Jackson for adults
Amazing story, so many twists I couldn’t stop listening! But you have to listen carefully sometimes as some of the narrators voices are similar and it can get confusing when the protagonist is thinking and speaking in a few places. But definitely recommend this story!

brilliant
the characters were all so dynamic, the story was brilliant (I actually gasped at one of the twists) . The narrator was excellent as well.
