Summary
Two years ago, Beth turned her back on her three-year-old niece for just a few seconds. She disappeared without a trace.
One day, Beth receives a photograph from an anonymous number; she is sure it's a photograph of her niece. She is determined to find her and bring her home. But someone isn't pleased when Beth returns, and they will do what it takes to get rid of her for good.

An intriguing plot
The narrator raised the game of this book.
Interesting plot with tedious repetition of making hot drinks. At one point I thought there were drugs in the cofee maker.
The dilemma of the heroine was compelling but her flaws and the flaws in the plot were not developed to hold the suspense in a deep way but I enjoyed the narrative.

Mixed feelings
I found myself getting annoyed with this story - but still had to get to the end! Not sure if it was the narrator or the unreasonable actions of the central character - it was all a bit creepy. Unlike other DS Butler books I have listened to so far.

Good twisty ending

Brilliant book thanks.
Brilliant book makes you realise how short life is and to enjoy every moment with live ones also made me realise no matter how safe you think our children are there not there are monester's in every corner waiting to seek there chance let's make sure we don't give them there chance.

That was a really good book
Well written and well read, maybe a tad unrealistic at times but I really enjoyed it will be looking for more from this author.
