About this listen
The next exciting instalment from the bestselling author of The Shop Girls of Harpers and The Mulberry Lane Series.
Oxford St, London, 1913
The shop girls of Harpers Emporium on Oxford Street are happy in their work and their lives are moving on at quite a pace.
United by the suffragette cause and now living under one roof, some will find love and marriage whilst others experience heartache and tears.
Harpers is the bond that holds them together, bringing strength through hardship and pain and friendship and love.
A heart-warming saga following the lives, loves and losses of the Harpers Girls.
Perfect for fans of Lizzie Lane, Pam Howes and Dilly Court.
'Brilliant read. Wonderful characters that draw you into Harpers world. Thoroughly enjoyable' - Kitty Neale

love it
Absolutely loving this series. I like historical novels that take you away from the modern world for a while. Not that it's all sweetness and light, it is full of real life and struggles. I hate spoilers so I'm not going to say any more other than, if you liked Call The Midwife, you'll probably love this too.

So enjoyable
Great listen, easy to follow but addressed key historical moments such as votes for women, along side important other topics with marriages. Look forward to getting more in the series soon.

enjoyed
I enjoyed this book but the oratory was a bit stiff, I felt I was listening to someone reading an essay at school, will be getting the next one in the series .
