About this listen
Luca King.
The notorious playboy.
A master of one night stands.
My constant shadow.
Wherever I went, he was always there. Until he wasn’t. One wild night at a masquerade party was all it took. I got pregnant, broke my engagement, and failed my family.
The worst part? I had no idea who the father of my baby was. I had only one clue—a Prince Albert piercing. Not exactly a smoking gun.
My parents disowned me after I refused to marry the prospects they presented. It wasn’t my fault I became gun shy. The last four men I met ended up dead. It was safer to have this baby on my own.
Our world was a dangerous one. And without the protection of my family, I was running out of time.
So it left me with no choice but to disappear, leaving no trace of where I went.
That was until Luca King found me at my lowest.
Maybe I should have tried harder to stay hidden, because he would surely be my destruction.

Loving this series!
There is something to be said about masquerade balls. In this case, it is a unique opportunity for Margaret and Luca! Luca has had a thing for Margaret for some time, and tonight is the night to make his move. Margaret has one thing on her mind. And when she propositions the masked man, he is all in. But no names are exchanged, and her first time leads her to a new life. But does this deter Luca? No way! Becoming a father just is icing on the cake for him. Now to convince her that he is the man for her, despite the hate their families have for each other. And when she learns of his secrets, will she ever be able to be with him? Talk about baggage before the relationship even starts! Luca is a dark, dangerous man, but around Margaret, you would never know it. He is damaged, but his goodness and big heart shine when it comes to her. Margaret is tough. Walls around her heart, and her mind keep her at arms length. Will she let them down? This is fast paced, full of surprises and unforgivable circumstances, a man who cannot give up on what he wants and a woman who wants him. How can you go wrong? Add in all the men we have gotten to know and love in this series that pop in to honor and protect? Loved this one and am anticipating the next!
Aubry Vincent and Duncan Cole are the story tellers, and they sink their teeth into this one and bring it all out! Margaret has some spunk and Vincent dives into her personality. She creates a fascinating woman, strong, capable and loving. Cole's alpha rasp had me from the masquerade ball, knowing he is a teddy bear at heart, and overly protective. Loved this team and think they are perfectly cast. It's a wonderful listen.

Love & pain
Luca & Margaret’s story was worth the wait. I love how hard Luca fell, & how hard he has to fight for Margaret, for her love, her forgiveness.

Secret baby mafia
I was absolutely blown away by this story! The unique twist on the secret baby trope had me completely hooked. The complicated relationship between Margaret and Luca kept me on the edge of my seat. Their chemistry was unbelievably intense, and their hidden secrets added a thrilling layer to the story. Just like the rest of the Belles and Mobsters series, this book did not disappoint. I'm eagerly anticipating what the author has in store for us next!

Outstanding Story, Characters, Series & Listen🎧
I am loving this series and it seems like every new “Belles & Mobsters” book I listen to I have a new favorite character, and this time it is Luca, so move over Sasha, Alexei, Cassio, Nico and Luciano. Sorry, not sorry! And of all the Belles, Margaret is definitely a standout and one of my favorites. Luca King, Cassio’s brother, has a thing for Margaret Callahan, except she wants nothing to do with him. But he finds himself in with her one Halloween night when they are all masked up. She was on a mission, and to hookup with someone at the club before her family married her off. Luca knew it was her, but she had not known it was him and they had a steamy encounter, but she got more out of that night than she bargained for a pregnancy. Luca was determined to make her his and while her family continued to arrange a marriage for her, he made sure that would not happen. Holy moly, Luca was intense, took stalking to a whole new level and when she disappeared, it took him a day to find her. He goes after her and works on making her his. I loved all the layers to the story, from Luca’s backstory to Margaret’s and their connection, which he does not want her to know. Like all the other books, the writing, plotting and world building are phenomenal. The story is captivating from start to end and has the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, some twists and turns, thrilling suspense and steamy romance. Eva Winners, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride. I hope you are not done with this awesome world you built and there are more stories to come.
🎧📚🎧And for the fantastic narration, Eva Winners chose the perfect cast to bring her characters and story to life. Aubrey Vincent and Duncan Cole are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They did an amazing job portraying these characters, giving each a voice that fit that character’s persona, accents included and were believable in every role they played. Aubrey Vincent’s Margaret was perfection, grasping her fierceness and feistiness, as well as her caring side. Duncan Cole’s Luca was spot on, grasped his intensity and his possessiveness. Both were fantastic performing the roles of all the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for this wonderful listen.

Love at first sight
Luca was in love with Margaret Callaghan from the minute he saved her all those years ago now he just had to make her fall for him. What he didn’t expect after the one night with her was to find out she was carrying his child then to have her vanish on him.

Great storyline!
Luca and Margaret. I love that these guys set their eyes on a girl and wait for the right time to pursue them, although Luca has his own ways. Margaret is headstrong and knows what she wants. Getting away from one brother and into the arms of the other makes for her life a living hell until it’s not. She isn’t a wilting flower, although a bad waitress lol, I loved her strength. Another hit for this series. And the narration definitely makes it even better.

So good!!
I knew Luca and Margaret's story was going to be good, but I did not expect half of what happened during this story!
I loved the banter and the draw between these two, also loved watching them find their connection.
The fact that Luca was so adamant about what he wanted and there was no changing his mind was exactly what I love about the heroes in my stories. I love that he wanted Margaret and there was nothing anyone could do to change his mind or hold him back from getting her.
The drama that unfolded during this story was something that kept me intrigued throughout the whole book. I loved seeing the others from the previous stories as well, the way these characters find themselves in trouble constantly is spectacularly entertaining. I loved all of it.
Aubrey Vincent and Duncan Cole were both new to me narrators and they were great! I loved the velvety smooth quality of Duncan's voice, and Aubrey brought the emotions perfectly! It was a beautiful experience.
