About this listen
It's St. Patrick's Day, and Holly's feeling lucky...at least, right up until a dead body shows up in the woods behind the esteemed Beechwood Manor.
With the townspeople distracted by a mysterious shamrock-themed scavenger hunt, everyone seems content to chalk up the death as a tragic hunting accident. But when the clover-shaped clues lead back to the crime scene, things take a deadly turn.
With a rogue leprechaun on the loose and something sinister lurking on the edges of town, it's up to Holly to stop the murderer and keep secret paranormal powers from swallowing up the sleepy town she's grown to love.

You feel lucky when you find a good book
I enjoyed this book and just love the series, so glad I discovered the series and would recommend you read or listen to the books in order because they do follow on from each other. I really like the mix and quirkiness of the characters in this series. Normally you have a lucky if not not clever main character and possibly a quirky sidekick to bring humour to the story but with this series there are so many great characters I am not sure you can call them sidekicks because they all being there own skill or talent to the table. Anyone of them could have there own spin off, not that I want to brake up the Scooby doo gang as I love listening to there adventures and what adventure they have. This is the type of series were the only hold back is the author's imagination and it hasn't let her down yet. The mystery was entertaining with so much going leprechaun running a muck, vampires hunting and werewolves running free. All ment I was hooked until the end and am straight off to start the next book.
The full moon happens to coincide with St Patrick's day and the last thing Holly expected was to get distracted by leprechauns when her friend Nick is shifting for the first time. Holly knew it would be hard but she didn't expect someone to be out in the woods hunting or a leprechaun leaving notes to an abandoned cabin. Cabin where a naked dead body is discovered. Did the hunter kill the wrong target? meaning Nick is in danger? Or was it just someone protecting there land? Holly and her friends set to find out in order to keep Nick safe especially it's discovered a vampire was in the woods too. Can they protect Nick and there human friends the cops before there is another victim? She also has to help Nick whos change despite the interruption didn't quite go to plan.
