About this listen
Gwen Miller may be a human, but she has no problem taking a stand against her own kind. She's going to testify against the teenage boy she saw viciously assault a lone shifter female - and no amount of pressure from the boy's wealthy family will make her back down. But when the harassment turns violent, help comes in the form of a lean, toned wolf with winter-gray eyes.
As a guest at Gwen's inn, shifter enforcer Zander Devlin can't help but notice that the fierce and leggy brunette is in serious trouble. Since she's putting herself at risk for one of his kind, keeping her safe is the least he can do. That's not the only reason Zander wants her close. He desires her, even as the wolf inside him backs away from her. But his feral instincts are hard to keep down, and as they take shape, they're harder for Gwen to resist. Then again, embracing them could be the only thing that could save her life.

Another fab story from Suzanne Wright
really been enjoying this series, I love how each new book allows you to catch up with previous books characters while introducing new ones to the pack. The narrator does a great job in making this a very easy book to listen too

Life of Oblivion
This is the first time any of the shifters choose a non shifter as a mate, with all the complications that goes with it. With trouble coming from both the shifter and non shifter community they hardly get any time to bond. Read brilliantly yet again by Jill Redfield.

Got to love wolves!!!
Both the Mercury and Phoenix series has been seriously addictive. Despite the commonalities in each story, the characters have each had an individual story to tell. I tend to skip across the "mating" scenes, once you've read one you've read them all but I still can't get enough from these characters.
Jill Redfield is an amazing narrator and really brings the characters to life.

Loved it! (As expected)
I always love Suzanne Wright's books. They are unapologetically bold and sexy. This book is no exception. And I love that each book in the Phoenix Pack and Mercury Pack series allows the reader to revisit with couples from the previous book and experience how the packs develop. It is so easy to commit to the series.
Suzanne Wright and Jill Redfield make a stellar combination. Suzanne writes these incredibly bold paranormal stories with strong opinionated characters and Jill's performances bring them to life.
Thoroughly met my expecations!! Loved it!

Usual formula pretty much as I expected
If you are familiar with the Phoenix Pack and Mercury pack books from Suzanne Wright you will know exactly what to expect and are unlikely to be disappointed.
If not don't start here but start with Feral Sins as the books will work better starting at the beginning.
Usual guff - Feisty Damsel needs some help, enter brooding male who just has to help. Both have issues and don't see to start with they are destined for each other, some steamy sex, then the baddies get a bit out of hand plunging all into dire peril - you can guess the rest.
Great literature it isn't but its all good fun, and if you like the formula this is a good listen. Jill Redfield does her normal excellent job. If you like the predecessors in this series you are unlikely to be disappointed with this one.
