Christian Historical Romance

I enjoyed that this was a stand alone book, yet it also connects to another Barbara Goss book, Cody's Cure (Hers to Redeem, #1).

I love it when an side character gets the opportunity to tell their story!

There were wonderful Christian themes of forgiveness and honesty, throughout the book!

I didn't enjoy one prominent feature and that was jealousy. Both men think their jealousy is a sign that they're in love.

The narration was very good! He did a great job giving each character their own voice. Not just the sound, but the rhythm, speed, inflection, and volume were all different! That's HUGE to me as a listener. We take cues like those to figure out who's speaking when there's more than one person talking in conversation. It's the hardest thing for a narrator to do, in my opinion.

Great job to both of you!
