About this listen
And she lived happily-ever-after...or...maybe not.
Morgan’s new status among the Fae has made it impossible for the witches to ignore the danger she may become to them. They declare war, and now it’s up to Morgan and her Fae army to keep humanity safe.
Grayson may have settled in as Alpha, but females are clamoring for the position of alpha female, and at least one is willing to risk the dishonor of being an assassin, putting true love to the test as he’s forced to choose between tradition and the women he can’t let go of.
The Fae princess and badass witch is fighting on two fronts, and unless she taps into some serious magic, or some powerful allies, the knife in the dark might end the fight for freedom before it’s begun. In the end, everyone will risk losing something irreplaceable, and it’s up to Morgan and Grayson to ensure that the loss doesn’t outweigh the reward.

A brilliant adaptation
Morgana faces more difficult choices in this fast paced adventure. New alliances are forged and her love life remains complicated. this is a brilliant adaptation, with a great choice of narrator. I look forward to listening to the next book in this thrilling series.

More twists and turns than a rollercoaster
Oh man so I have good news!!! This is book 3 BUT it’s not the end of amazing amazing adventure!!! We have more to come so I’m super excited!! Don’t worry it’s not a cliffhanger but you will be thirsty for more.
We take off from book 2 and Morgan is getting better and better. She is a true leader as she cares for everyone as always and putting others before herself. Even the ones everyone else consider less than. Yup and I am a heterosexual female with a girl crush.
So she is no longer with Grayson MUCH to my dismay. BUT as much as I love him he doesn’t deserve her!! He should either let her go or break the rules and take here as his mate but sadly noooooo.
Soooo Morgan is having a friends with benefits relationship with the untrustworthy Tryst. I have a love hate relationship with him as I honestly don’t know if he is on the side of good or the side of simply himself 🤣
If only Gray could get his finger out his arse!!! And he refuses to intervene with the female shifters giving Morgan shit while trying to get the role of pack queen!
My favourite addition to the storyline is littlebit awww so much love here. Wait and see as you will fall in love too.
Another brilliant story with loads of twists and turns and new additions to the alliance. Can’t wait for more. Top marks 5/5 ❤️

Loved it!
This is a great series which just keeps getting better. I love Morgan’s character, she is totally badass and she truly stands up for the underdogs. She will make a fantastic leader and she just keeps getting stronger as she battles every obstacle she comes up against. What she really needs is a man to love all of her and accept her for who she is, I still don’t trust Tryst and I think she has finally realised that he is using her. Grayson really needs to decide if he will truly accept her as his mate or let her go. Because of him she is constantly challenged by other females in the pack as they are threatened by her. I also listened to the audible version of the book and, yet again, Astrid Morgan does a fantastic job as narrator. Loved it and looking forward to reading the next book now.
