the best Redwall book so far
With a sadly terrible narrator. how do you get Basil Stag Hare's voice so utterly wrong, most of the voices of the characters are clearly laid out by how they're written yet this narrator tries to change them drastically whilst also being bound to read them as written, it's incredibly jarring.

Lovely story awful narration
Quite honestly I have no idea how Puffin managed to ruin such a great story considering books 1 and 2 were well narrated, but they do. The narration mispronounced several English words e.g. "poultice", and names e.g. "Methusaleh",, the cadence is all over the place with sentences broken up oddly, and half the accents are terrible. Accents are so important to Redwall, and this was such a letdown. I have no idea how the narrator got through this book since half the time he sounds bored out of his mind. A real let down considering how much nostalgia this story holds for me.

A Terrible Audiobook Performance
The narration is so shocking and I’m surprised it passed quality control.
The story is narrated in a bored monotone, the accents are absolutely horrific and it sounds like this is the first time the narrator saw the text.
Please don’t be put off the story which is a Redwall series great - but don’t waste your money on this audio book. It is absolutely terrible.
